I went and got food night ,when I order I request for fresh fries and one I received my food , my fries wasn’t fresh at all . I ask the worker for new fries he gave more cold fries. Then the manager came and got mad cause I informed her that the fries was cold and I request for them to be fresh and hot. This not the first time this has happened I will be calling corporate.
This place has changed alot since COVID happened two years ago.The last time I went here, Steak and Shake was a sit down restaurant where you were seated and a waiter or waitress took your order, but you paid at the counter when you left.Nowadays, ordering is completely automated via a variety of touch screens located near the entrance. One complaint I had is that they took away most of the menu and only offer burgers and a handful of other items. I paid $7 for my meal which included a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a drink.You get your own cup and drink at a self serve beverage station and you wait for your order number to be called when it's ready. I like the self serve drink bar because you can have something to drink while you wait. I got my food within 10 to 15 minutes of ordering. The burger and fries were nothing spectacular, but I got what I paid for when it was $7, the main reason I came here was because my car was being worked on at Motor City next door and I needed to kill an hour.While the food is nothing to write home about, it's decent if you're like me and you need something to do while your car is getting worked on at Motor City next door.
Clean the soda machine as needed. I see green algae all over the ice despiser and still getting worse. I’ve been coming here for over a year. While about 6 months ago my coworkers and I have been watching it just keep getting worse at by the week, month, almost a year. Get with the program.
Typical Steak ‘n Shake with your bad service. Food wasn’t hot at all. Fries were dry and had no taste. Threw half of them out. Burger was mediocre with lack of taste. I needed ketchup and I stood at the counter calling out for someone. No one came. Very bad. Nothing on the tables as far as condiments. No salt or pepper, I mean just nothing. F for failure at this location.
Price and food was good. The service was fast and staff were friendly. The glass around the booths and the table could've been a lot cleaner. The glass had old smudges and finger prints all over. The table and seats were just from someone who sat earlier. But the food was very tasty and made well we didn't have a shake but heard they were very good next time will get one.
I've only ever had the milkshakes, but they are the best. You can tell they're hand dipped and super thick and creamy. Definitely try a shake!
I absolutely love this place! Order through drive thru most of the time they always get my order right. Yeah the wait time is a little long but I'd take a correct order over something rushed, ya know? They are always friendly and always consistent with their product! I order the 7 by 7 with bacon, jalapenos, and onions on it along with fries and either a sweet tea or another soft drink! Comes out hot and fresh every time!! Continue being elite!
Good burgers and price. Very Slow service and always too cold inside. Inside of restaurant is closed. No eating on the inside. Must order at drive thru and eat in parking lot or take home. I believe it's due to covid or short on staff.
Just ordered a combo! The burger is disgusting and the fries are awful and the dr pepper was flat as hell! I will never eat from any of your locations ever again, omg yuck this is the worst place I've ever ate from! Never ever again
It's a great Place! Decent customer service, but you won't be having many interactions, since there's a sort a tablet for you to order. If your dining in, atleast.
