I’ve only ever gotten large cheese pizzas, but good price and really good New York style pies.Got the calamari once and it was good too!Definitely my go to pizza spot as I’ve been disappointed with other higher priced pizza places in the area.
Actually, if I had three thumbs, they would all be down after eating at Sal's. The restaurant was out of the prosecco I ordered upon arriving to dine with my daughter. Then, after substituting wine, the glass was stained with lipstick and had to be returned. The wine was average. I ordered cheese ravioli, the early bird special, at a not-too-modest $15.99, including salad, rolls and dessert. There were exactly 4 medium--sized cheese ravioli on the plate, covered with a sweet sauce that did not taste fresh. The Caesar salad was small, and the garlic rolls were hard and burned. Just as I thought things could not get worse, the tiny sliver of dessert cheesecake arrived, and it was still frozen in the middle! My daughter did not fare much better. Her eggplant parmesan tasted stale and the sauce, like mine, did not seem fresh. On the plus side, this is a cozy place if only the food were better. I think the young waitress did the best she could.
The food was fantastic and everything was fresh. The employees made us feel right at home. We are definitely coming back, great atmosphere and the perfect place to come for any occasion.
Very disappointing first and what will be our last experience. We ordered an appetizer and never received it. Several minutes later we received our meal which was very bland and overpriced for what we got. Our waitress noticed I was not eating and asked what was wrong. I explained that it just tasted bland and was not what I was expecting. She left to speak to the manager, came back and said we would get a 25% discount. Okay, great. My husband ordered dessert only for it to be frozen. We said something to the waitress and she said she would fix it. She brings it back out and says "it's not supposed to be microwaved but that's all I can do". Definitely not the customer service or quality of food I should receive for $60 worth or food.
I came to sals a couple days ago with my kids and my wife. The food was amazing and the service as well. The server always comes to check up to make sure that everything is okay. We ordered Cannoli’s for dessert, they were amazing. Will definitely recommend the restaurante, great place to eat with family and friends.
The Food and the Service are always top Notch! Carolina is a doll and the atmosphere is always pleasant. I would recommened to anyone in and around town or visiting that they stop by and try out the food! 5 Stars everytime I have been there. Thank you!
Had high hopes for a good local Italian place but after trying table service twice and take out once I give up .Uncomfortable table seating - they use LED bulbs above the tables ! The people next to us unscrewed the bulb so they could try to enjoy their meal. Portions are small , tasteless ,and I dare to say reheated frozen entrees .
Gave this restaurant multiple opportunities and they failed everytime. 40 minutes for a salad with not 1 car in the parking lot. Bruchetta, the bread was so burnt when I picked it up, it turned to dust. Pizza, I added 3 toppings, looks like there in nothing on it like maybe 1/2 of a meatball diced. Also called for a big order to be delivered for a birthday party, day of the party, they said sorry we don't have a driver. NEVER AGAIN. I will make the long haul to lantana
Slow kitchen, appetizer was never brought out, bland flavored main dishes, $9 Tiramisu was still frozen when served, $5 to add chicken, $3 to substitute Alfredo for marinera, & $3 to add mushrooms to cheese ravioli.We were comp'd 25% for all these said issues and still paid $52 + tip, drinking water, for 2.Would be a 1 star without the comp.We won't be back.
