I see lots of people always eating here so I’ve wanted to try it for some time. Decided to treat myself and my hopes were high! Maybe too high ?. My noodles in my dish were way toooo sweet, and the shrimp and chicken were both over cooked. Also, the Krab wontons had very little filling. I threw away most of my dish. What a disappointment!!
This is a lovely cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating. The atmosphere was laid back tending towards your vision of an Americanized sushi restaurant and bar. But don’t be fooled, you selection will NOT be limited there are a ton of choices on their not one but two menu. One Thai menu and one Japanese menu. I think most people will be able to find something that they enjoy.
The food and service is amazing. As soon as you walk in the door, the cool and dazzling aesthetic draws you in and the food only reflects that. The sesame buns on the dim sum menu have my heart and my mom loved the shrimp dumplings. We both had sushi with mine being the Samurai bento box. The fresh cuts of fish were huge and incredible. Next time my mom and I come down for Lion Country Safari, we'll return to enjoy a refreshing meal.
A group of us came here the other night for dining. We had an enjoyable time and the food was great. I had the hurricane roll and the sweet and sour chicken. My wife's food as well as our friends food was also amazing. Was friendly and reasonably attentive. He probably could have done a better job keeping an eye on our water glasses and such. The bathrooms were clean as well as the restaurant. My wife and I have been here many times since this place opened a few years ago. I would recommend this to anybody who enjoys Thai or Japanese cuisine.
Food was amazing. Dim sum was great! We got Tom Yum Kai which was seriously fantastic and shared panang curry. Probably the best panang I’ve had. Smaller portions that other Thai restaurants in town but we were full after splitting 2 dim sum, soup, and the curry.Docked a star because service was “meh.” Our waitress was kind of short and didn’t check in…we were going to order more but didn’t because of this. Also the food took a LONG time to come out. Over 40 min of waiting.I will be coming back…but will maybe just do take out?
The service was very quick and pleasant atmosphere is absolutely adorable. Food was yummy I had the Mexican roll..
We went for lunch and it was short of the positive reviews mentioned below. We had 2 dishes of chicken teriyaki which chicken was over cooked and hard. Sauce was alright. We also had shrimp curry soup which was nothing to cheer about, simply could be better. We had a plate of shrimp pad Thai noddles which was alright.Service was slow and non existent.Definitely not coming back nor recommending
I have been going to Moon Thai Sushi for years, multiple times a week. I called to place a LARGE pick-up order as usual and included in my order a kids chicken teriyaki... I was told that they can not include a kids menu item in my order...I told them we eat there all the time and are very generous with our orders and to the staff...they still refused. Any business that can not accommodate their loyal customers and their children do not deserve our business. Especially how we went above and beyond to support them during difficult times of 2020. I will never return to your establishment nor will I recommend any business that does not appreciate loyal customers. Best of luck
We had a great experience at Moon Thai. The food is very good, try the Tom Yum soup! The decor is clean and modern. Most importantly the service was wonderful, we had Noah as our server, he was attentive and hospitable. We will definitely be going back.
Love the place, clean, and modern decor and friendly staff and delicious food definitely coming back!!!
