Boy has this place gone downhill. We used to eat here all the time a couple of years ago. It’s too bad how terrible this experience was. As soon as we walked in we were told the bathrooms didn’t work. Then the ac quit working. The server forgot our salads and we waited 45 minutes for our appetizers. Then they messed up our order and later messed it up again and brought out the wrong food. The cook and the server were arguing back and forth and all my wife and I wanted to do was get out of there. This place is absolutely horrible. It’s a shame because we used to love the food there. We will NEVER return. You can’t go to a worse place. It won’t be around long. Absolutely no leadership or management whatsoever.
We catered our wedding from Mario Bros and everything was amazing! So many compliments on the food! It was delivered on time, fairly priced and great communication! Highly recommend!
I am new to the neighborhood and decided to give them a try!! Needless to say I've ordered food from there 5 or 6 times already!!! GREAT tasting food, GREAT service and overall a GREAT experience!! If I could give yal 10 stars I would!
Ordered Lasagna,It was noodles & meat sauce,I asked the server if this was lasagna he said yes! This is not the way you make lasagna. I will not be going back.Taste so bad,I couldn't eat it.
Delicious dinner with large portions including side salads and rolls- with a clean environment and friendly staff! Will be back!
Last night we arrived at 7:30 with a group of 4. This was a birthday celebration and we had called earlier in the week to make arrangements and even talk to the staff about bringing in a special bottle of wine. When we arrived the young man that great us yelled out from back in the service area there would be a 90 minutes wait. We noticed there were empty tables and with our reservation something seamed very odd. So we left feeling dejected but we went right next door to las agaves Mexician restaurant. We were served fresh hot food and a very friendly staff. They even did a nice desert for the birthday girl and we had a great time. At 9.25 I called back to Mario Bros Restaurant and attempted to places an order to pickup but the young man on the phone said the restaurant was already closed. I walked over to the restaurant and found them open. Not happy at all that my favorite restaurant for years is unaware how it’s employees are treating the guests.
They make the best lasagna I ever had. Their eggplant is fabulous. Their salads are always fresh (try the roasted garlic dressing) and all of their portions are so generous that you'll have leftovers every time. Truly a gem in our community. The staff is always courteous and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The desserts are really good also. I like the cannolis and the brownies. Everything is always fresh and beyond tasty. I try to go at least once a week. Definitely call ahead for takeout because everything is made to order and takes time.
Went there 18 years ago. It wasn’t good, so we forgot the place existed. We were reminded of it last week when someone said it served good Italian food. We went yesterday. First impression: (which is almost always a sign of food quality): dark & smelly inside; super sticky table (my plate was stuck to it). Waiter was s-l-o-w. Lukewarm garlic rolls were actually prepackaged slider rolls with garlic sauce spread over the top. Pizza was served on a plastic lunch tray (see photo). It certainly was presented terribly and looked unappealing, but actually tasted okay (thus the 1 star). The combination plate came out very messy; it looked like the food was thrown onto the plate. The “lasagna” was actually bow tie noodles with a ton of ricotta cheese and marinara folded in. The piece of chicken (in the chicken parmesan) was tiny (three bites). A “good” restaurant is one that provides a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere, great service, and of course, great, quality food. Sadly, this place fails in all three categories. I will remember this visit because of the terrible stomach ache I had for the rest of the night; and will never be back.
Server was very nice but unfortunately this place has terrible food. Never again! My stuffed shells were either frozen with white freezer rot marks and tough pasta or it was microwaved. Either way it’s a no go for us. I would also like to add Mario sent the server back to tell us they don’t use frozen…. Pretty sure our room temperature food was frozen. My meal was removed from our bill but they added the salad that cameWith the meal to our ticket! I did eat the salad so OK we paid for a separate salad.
The tables are sticky, it's very dim, the air vents are moldy, its very hot, the bread is very dry, the food takes long to come out, the water had a film on it, and the pizza tasted gross.
