Just Meh…. St Louis Ribs we’re bland, sauce was nothing special. Corn bread was old & dried out Husband got 3-meat platter with 2 sides…. Once again nothing special On the positive side, customer service was nice. We thought it was a tad pricey compared to portion size.
Finally tried this place. The inside was really clean! I ordered takeout. The lady taking the order was real nice. They had normal table seating and hi tops. My husband got the pulled pork and I got the smoked turkey. They were both delicious! We will definitely be back!

We had a get together for my daughters graduation here last night. It was a large crowd of 25 people and decided to have it catered. The manager, Joel, and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. I was very impressed with the service, the cost of the food for such a large crowd and just the overall experience! Joel was so helpful and took care of everything and helped to make it a memorable night for my daughter! Thank you!!
OMG the food was awful no seasoning on the collards. The bake beans looked and tasted like prison food from 1973. No garlic bread just a small triangle of corn bread and I do mean small. Oh don't let me forget the so call peach cobbler...just some bland can peaches with a sprinkle of cinnamon and cake bread as the topping. The rib were dry lacking flavor.
Had the half smoked chicken with Mac and cheese and green beans. The smoked chicken was good. The green beans were OK (tasted canned) the mac and cheese was not good at all. It was hot and fresh but tasted of powder cheese and water. The service was good an quick. Next time I'll get collard greens
First time visiting Willie Jewell's. I had pulled pork,collard greens, fried okra. My friend had pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw on it, and fried okra, and fried pickles. We both drank water. The food was outstanding!! The restaurant was spotless! The staff were very friendly & helpful.We will definitely be back!!
So this place is not cheap the food is decent. Recent visit the brisket was good sold meat portion. Sides are small a cup of mac n cheese, fries were typical and good. Ordered desert and well for $3.50 it's a hard pass. Large drink was typical, full of ice little soda. Meal total was $25.00 (rounded up) and for that amount it was not impressive. Was it horrid nope. Simply decent.
The guy at the window is always extremely friendly. I like that they usually ask if you'd like to look at the menu before ordering, which I usually opt for. The portions aren't that bad, but you just have to know what to order. I really haven't had an issue here. I don't think they really wear masks, but the food is OK and the service isn't really bad. I'd rate it higher, but it is what it is. They've got quite a selection. Overall, the food is pretty good. I typically opt for something that I know will give me the most portions, but that's about it. The sweet tea here isn't that bad either. Their sauces are pretty good and they've got a nice selection. I'd recommend trying them.
