We are visiting from Massachusetts and brought our daughter in law and grandson to your establishment (6/4/2022). What a treat! Most ice creams are a grainy texture in our opinion, so we were surprised to discover a very 100% smooth and creamy texture. Even our popular brand back home can’t compete with yours. Very pleasant and efficient workers and comfortable weather this evening made for a fun outing. I just wish you had Twistee Treat locations in New England!
This place is really great! The staff is friendly and helpful with taking orders. My ice cream started melting immediately and they got me a bunch of napkins to help clean the disaster. The ice cream is super creamy and sugary the way its supposed to be. There are also some tables available outside to sit and eat on site.
The girl at the window gave us a pup cup for our pups, so sweet. They give 10 stars ?! Ice cream is always delicious from here & the staff is always so nice!
This was our first visit to a Twistee Treat. The servings were VERY generous! We got small twirls (their version of a Blizzard or McFlurry) and they were too big to eat for one person. The twirls were well blended with a nice ratio of ice cream to candy in every bite. The ice cream is very smooth and not overly rich. My husband thought is was frozen custard but the signs said ice cream.They definitely have peak times. We went at 7:00 on Sunday and the line was about 6 deep at the walk up window and ten deep in the drive through. Even though the line was longer the staff was very efficient and we only waited about 5 minutes for our ice cream.We will try this again in the future keeping in mind the portion size.
I usually don't write reviews about establishments. I had to share my experience with Twisty Treat. First, going through the drive thru was a clear and professional transaction. We were able to exchange the order in a pleasant manor. Second, I know that some folks can't understand when a business is having issues with their computers or it is a cash only case. they lose their trolling mind. The drive through worker was very helpful, I believe her name is Ms. Greenly. The manager Ms Jessica was also very patient and helpful. Lastly, I enjoyed the service very well.
I'm giving this three stars because while the cash register attended was super sweet & courteous, there was one worker in a purple apron that was so rude to everyone she served, rolled her eyes and made Constant comments behind their back. She wasn't even embarrassed when she was called on it & just smiled like it was nothing. Bad business
This is a cute ice cream shop. The service can be hit or miss with the high school kids who work here... But, the main reason I only gave it 2 stars is the apparent policy of not keeping enough change on hand to make change when a customer pays with cash! This is a major management FAILURE! They just take your cash and then short you any change you deserve. My purchase was $4.20. I handed them a $10. They gave me $5 back. When I asked for the rest of.my change theynsai we don't have any change! NOT THE WAY TO DO BUSINESS!
I just wanted to express my thanks for the great customer service from Makayla. She took our order, they were all correct and looked great. She has a warm and welcoming personality. Thanks Makayla for all that you do.
Iconic old Twisty Treat, not many left now. It used to be part of a franchised chain but only a few survived. My favorite is the sundae with peanut butter and hot fudge toppings. Yum!
