I had a great experience today and definitely will return! I ordered shrimp shumai, gyoza, and an eel/avocado roll. The flavor and freshness of my meal was impressive because even though it was simple it was done well.Ordering online was easy, and I received a confirmation text as well as a notification when my food was ready, so I was able to pick it up super fresh and bring it home hot!I noticed that my package was sturdy and thoughtfully/neatly prepared with chopsticks stapled into the rolled handle of my bag and condiments included. This kind of care and attention to detail is what I love to see when trying a restaurant for the first time because the excellent customer service isn’t limited to dine-in service only.
As mentioned before, don’t judge this restaurant by the surroundings (outside). Very simple interiors, very clean. Attentive staff, good food selection, tasty food, and plentiful. We will be back.
We went to Omakase for Mother's Day Dinner. It was delicious! The portions were large and the staff was friendly. We will be back!
It’s delicious!! Definitely I will come back to try more dishes!
I just happened to be in the area for an appointment. The restaurant name sounded familiar so I thought I'd get an early lunch. It's one of the few sushi restaurants in the area that is open on Monday, and opens at 11:00 am. I believe they are closed on Tuesday's.I was so happy to be greeted by a staff member that I already knew from another Asian restaurant I had frequented once before with my mother. It was a welcomed surprise. She remembered me and we talked about mom. She sat me in a booth right away, and told me they had reopened their newly renovated restaurant in October 2021 for dine-in service. I didn't realize they had only been doing takeout during the pandemic. But, totally understandable since people weren't really dining out much at that time. Anyway, I felt comfortable right away. I love that the booth seating has high walls. I feel like I'm more socially distanced from other people which I like. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. The service is fantastic! The menu is like a book. They have a little of everything from sushi, kitchen entrées, and desserts. I was immediately drawn to the fruit iced teas on the drink menu. I originally saw a chalk board menu of the real fruit teas when I walked in and knew right away that I had to try one. I got the lychee iced tea which was so cold and refreshing. It even had lychee fruit at the bottom of the glass which I saved for dessert. It was a very tall glass, and I didn't need any refills. It was perfect. They also have wine, beer, and saké.I was a little unsure what to get. I almost got the House Special Udon noodles, but decided to get the Dream Roll when seeing a picture of it on the menu. I was going to get some salmon nigiri, but the torched salmon belly came highly recommended. I was very pleased with both choices. The Dream Roll had baked scallops and salmon. It even had a little acidity to it. Maybe rice or balsamic vinegar, but I'm not sure. It was good. I really loved the nigiri the best. The torched part gave it a natural smoky BBQ flavor, and it looked pretty. I was happy with everything I ordered. I definitely want to go back and try the Krab Rangoon, Popcorn Lobster Roll, and the Spicy Scallop hand roll. The pictures on the menu look delicious. The 5 stars is not just for the food. The service just brings it over the top. The staff is small, but they are so genuine and caring. Somehow they still manage to get the food out quickly. I won't wait too long to go back. It's a good sushi lunch option if you happen to be near US Hwy 301 and Big Bend in Riverview.
Everything tasted great and fresh! I had the Playboy Roll and King Triton Roll. Definitely adding this place to my current rotation of sushi restaurants I order from when visiting my parents!
We found this place while driving by, saw the reviews and decided to give it a try.We were pleasantly surprised by courteous staff. We have experienced restaurant after restaurant show signs of stress due to staff shortage but the hostess here just lifted our mood. The service was prompt, food was reasonably priced and just done right. The restaurant was 70% empty and I hope that was because we were a bit early for lunch. If you are looking for good Sushi and Asian food in general then this is the place to go.Good restaurants need local community support. We will definitely go back there.
I thought it was Excellent. The sashimi pieces were very good portions. Sometimes a restaurant tires to pass off little thin slices. These were not. I think the fried rice was incredible! This is my new go to for door dashing Asian food. You get large portions for the price, and it's close by to my house. Thanks Omakase for a great meal!
The food was incredible! Highly recommend the spicy cream chicken and the 911 roll! It’s very hard to find good Chinese food here in Florida but this place definitely didn’t disappoint. Great staff as well!
Awesome experience! I am picky about my sushi and this place had some of the best sushi (and sushi rice) I've had. The fish was fresh, the rice was flavorful and had a good balance from the rice vinegar and sugar - something most sushi places can't figure outOur server was awesome! She even told me what each piece of the sushi combo was so I knew what I was eating. Will definitely be back!
