Some of the best BBQ I've had. Very flavorful and tasty but business is closed now. Visited 7/2/22. Very sad and unfortunate ?
Ribs very fatty, way too much rub on the pulled pork to the point that all I tasted was salt, not a clean organized environment, and the bake beans tasted like pure cinnamon. On a good note, the mac n cheese and potato salad was excellent. Nice people, but unfortunately I will not return.
I don't normally do reviews but in this case I felt I had to. I moved to Florida from Texas and I have been searching for some good bbq and let me tell you this place is the best around. I will not go anywhere else for my bbq. My granddaughter and I went there last week and well they gave us the wrong order. I ordered brisket and pulled pork and she ordered brisket and ribs, we both got ribs and chicken. We took our food back and not only did they give us our correct order but they let us keep the ones they gave us. I personally thought that was above and beyond, but let me tell you I'm glad they messed up. You see I don't usually order chicken when I get bbq but now I will,. It was awesome, and so were the the other meats! And the sides omg potato salad, coleslaw and baked beans were so flavorful. From now on I will schedule my bbq meal around the days the are open! One totally satisfied customer!!?
Hands down best BBQ in the Riverview area! A real hidden gem.
Some of the best barbecue you can ever imagine! I and my granddaughter go there just to get the rip tips, however everything that I’ve ever eaten there is good vegetables and all! Very friendly, and hospitable. Try them sometimes you won’t regret it!
Even though I'm pretty sure some of the reviews are fake I gave this place a shot. It was very good and had really good service. I was a fan of the BBQ sauce and the ribs were done right.
My Mamas bbq in riverview- located in the riverview flea market is one of the best I have had .. the Smokey flavor is not over powering and the spare ribs just fall off the bone ..I also chose the white meat (chicken ) on this order and it was so moist .. honestly, no sauce needed on either and this can be a meal for 2. The seasoning was not overly salty at all..btwn the 2 sauces, I’d go for the hot -(it’s really mild enough for a child )- the collards were cooked just right, not over cooked and melted like butta ask you eat them.. the Mac n Cheese was just like mom made .. also had the chance to sample the tips — oh yea - I will be back. Husband and wife operation, and both have great customer service and are very pleasant to talk to.. They participate in the ‘pig fest’ and ‘pig jam’ in Lakeland and their sauce won.. a close friend of mine who also had me go back and get them a taste enjoyed their meal - only mentioned the potato salad was a little sweet.

If you are looking for really poor service then DO NOT COME HERE!!! Mindy the manager is so on her game...professional yet friendly and knows how to keep the flow of business going. Our server Debbie provided some of the most attentive, friendly, pleasant and accommodating service we have seen in a long time. I just know there was a big smile behind her mask!!!! She made our niece's 12th birthday something special!
