Been a few times and always enjoy my experience. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, the waitress was superb, food came out fresh and hot (a big plus) and the atmosphere relaxing....My only issue ... the napkin my silverware was rolled in carried some unfamiliar black substance which makes me want to always as for plastic silverware.
Came in for quick lunch but ended up waiting whole hour to get the food, server and manager came to apologies and we even got a discount, food was OK we didn't see a reason to wait for wraps and waffles that long.
Let’s start with the positive. The food and portions are good. I’ve been 3 times here (Riverview) to pick up. First experience, no one picked up phone. They had it off the hook. I had to walk over and place my order in person. The place was empty. The person at the front was busy drawing on a piece of scrap paper. Second experience, they took my order gave me all the options it came with then charged me extra. I inquired why. She said she didn’t realize that type of bread was extra. Then why offer it to me as an option? She apologized but still charged me. Third experience, the person in the phone who took my order rushed me and was borderline rude. If it wasn’t due to proximity and it’s 2 positive notes, this would longer be on my radar.I hope this review helps them retrain and correct these issues.
Love going here for breakfast the food is wonderful the service is usually excellent sometimes there’s a wait but that’s because the food so good! Keto option too!
Food and service was good but would have tipped much more if server wore a mask. Only eating out during slow times and special occasions. Wore our masks into the restaurant. Got an attitude from greeter when asked for a table away from other guests and was advised servers don't have to wear masks anymore so they could not give us a server that would wear one. Prices are very high too. I will not be going back anytime soon.
Overall blah experience not to mention, The food & service was post at best… we ordered fruit bowls for the children and they were $7 apiece absolutely ridiculous for the size of fruit. Our bill was $70 after-tax and we left a 18% Pretax tip and as we were leaving we could hear the waitress and clean up staff complaining about that not realizing that a tip is for you how good the services and the experience not an obligation! Lastly no crayons or menu to draw on for kids… I went to Publix to buy that. Next time I’ll go to first watch or a mom and pop breakfast place
This location has the most unprofessional manager that I have ever encountered. Ashley was so rude to me and my family. I will never return to this location and I will be letting people know to avoid this location.
I ordered the florida waffle and while it tasted good, it was cold, served with cold butter. The server didn't bring me syrup. I had to ask for it. Also my food was brought out way before my friends food. She ordered kettle chips with her club sandwich and the server brought her fries, and then her club sandwich was only cut in half. Our server was nice but he really missed out on my usually big tips because he was mediocre at best. Idk even know if I want to dine in here again. We basically went to a glorified ihop with waffle house service.
