So it's our first time stopping by this restaurant. Do not let the name fool you this place is so much more than a pizza bar. In fact I don't think it's a pizza bar at all. I must say that the inside is very cute and rather surprising. It has the feel of an Old World restaurant. The drinks are delicious, including the sweet tea which was fantastic. We started off with an appetizer of fried cheese. Probably the best fried mozzarella I've ever had. The bread that was brought to the table was very soft, fresh and had a lovely flavor. This was served with oil and italian spices. A delightful way to start the meal. The pizza had a thin crispy crust. The pie was not over sauced with the freshest ricotta cheese I've ever tasted. The ham in the pizza was not salty but, had a great flavor. I don't speak Italian so, I'm going to call it four cheese pasta that my wife had was outrageously good and I cannot say enough about the chicken marsala. This is by far hands down the best marsala I've had in the entire world. This is a place that you must visit. This restaurant is truly a five-star worthy place. I don't mean 5 stars because it's better than average I mean 5 stars because it's better than all the other five star places I've been to.
Fantastic food, great entertainment, awesome happy hour! They have specials. Great selection of wine.
While the food was "good", we almost walked out. It took the host that sat us 15-20 minutes earlier to realize no one had even brought up bread and/or water ? let alone came to get a drink order. She told the waitress, who finally came a few minutes later and seemed very unbothered that we waited that long. We skipped appetizers and ordered drinks and meals right away, because we were really just ready to go. It was not busy to where we would understand. She had delivered items to the table next to us, so she was aware that we were there, just never acknowledged us. Can't say we won't be back, but it definitely won't be anytime soon.
been here many times, always dependably good, as long as you stick to their wood fired pizzas. super thin, new york style, super crisp, easy to fold in half. the scallop sliders and calamari, in the appetizer section are always good too. their pasta dishes are not so great.....the sauces tend to be thin, watery and flavorless. servers are friendly, not super polished but nice and eager to please. we like DRE, he's a great guy, attentive and friendly. 2 for 1 specialty martinis between 4-7, they serve them 2 at a time, they tend to be watery and overly sweet. if you're looking for a good mom & pop, neighborhood pizza joint, this is the place!
My new spot in Riverview for happy hour and dinner. I am happy not to have to travelTo Tampa for a drink or good meal. I have been looking for a place to hang out and found this place by accident. The bar staff is great, the food has yet to disappoint, and the clientele is diverse.
Wonderful service. Delicious food. Comfortable and warm feeling as you eat your meal. The chef’s specials were sooooo TASTY!!! I can’t believe I didn’t know how good this place is?!?!?
If your a female or a minority, don't sit at the bar. You'll be ignored and receive cold food, or wrong food if the small blonde is bartending. We love the girl that wears the sparkly clothes though. Shes always a hoot. The waitresses and the rest of the staff in the actual restaurant are always a joy and treat us well anytime we come. We have started ordering to go now for our drinks and food. That girl is very sweet to talk too also. We love the food but the bar person needs hospitality classes.
My family and I wanted to try this restaurant for the longest time after moving to the area 4 years ago. However, a few Sundays ago, we arrived and were told a server called out so they couldn't sit us. There were lots of empty tables but host said they didn't have enough personnel. I'm assuming before every visit, you should call the restaurant and make sure nobody have called out for the day and make sure you'll be served? We eat out 2 times a week and this is the first time we are not giving a timeframe to wait and had the choice of waiting or leaving so I was confused but that's ok, plenty of restaurants around.
The food there is pretty good, but the service was definitely off. We went there for my fiancés birthday so we had a decently sized party of 6. The waitress after serving us our foot ask how we want to split the checks and after we get the bills back me and my fiancé were overcharged. Afterwards we went back with the waitress to fix the checks and after repeating multiple times what we had on our order they finally decided to fix it, although they still overcharged us. Regardless the food is definitely not the problem but the service could definitely have been better.
My wife and I happened upon this place by accident one day, tonight we drove 30min with the whole family cause its so good
