Being an original Texan, it’s hard to find comparable Mexican cuisine this far from Mexico, but I took a shot. The atmosphere was fun and bright. The wait was about 40 minutes on a weekday though. WTH? The food was ok, but lacked any real spicy flavor to it. Drinks were excellent, and the Mariachi band sang “ Desposito” at our table on request. A great date nite or girl’s night experience for sure.
Gran Agave - Bloomingdale/Providence ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ We've seen a lot of good reviews about this place so we tried it out today for our son's 1st birthday. I will first say we were a little frustrated that we were deceived. We called the night before to make sure they would sing happy birthday and they said of course they do and would. Today they refused. ?. How disappointing! Let's get that of the way. The food was delicious! We were all impressed. Chicken Chimichanga - Excellent flavors. It was fresh and the shell was cooked perfectly. Each topping played a role in making it delicious. The pulled chicken was a little dry but not enough to notice all that much. I recommend this dish. Enchiladas Supremes - So, so good. Each one had its own flavor and didn't run together. They were flavorful and fresh. The cheese sauce is exactly how we want it to taste. We had no complaints with this dish. Steak Tacos - Big disappointment. The steak was cooked way too long and chewed like rubber. It was inedible. However they acknowledged the mistake and took them back with no argument. The server willingly corrected the mistake. I do give my stamp of approval. It wasn't a perfect experience but it was really close. We are impressed. Come check it out. You will enjoy it.
It's a Mexican cuisine restaurant, so you already know what you're going to find. Excellent service, plenty of selections, that Mariachi atmosphere, and a full belly!. Tacos Al Pastor are decent. Burritos rock. Ice cold Negra Modelos quench the thirst. Loved getting my Cazadores Reposado in a fluted glass, poured at the table mind you. Muy bueno, Si!
Delicious margarita. Salsa tastes fresh made every time and the entrees are large!

Best drinks in Riverview! The food is great they’re Choriqueso is really good. That would be my recommended dish. Their salsa and chips is really good as well. All of their food tastes great if you are looking for authentic Mexican food. I’ve been there twice and definitely plan on going back. If you want a strong drink I would recommend the jumbo margarita. Mango is my favorite flavor. Last night I had the Chicken soup. It was great. Nice and hot. Also had the guacamole, it was ok.
Great little family owned restaurant with a large menu. Looking for some good Mexican food? This is the place for you. Nice size menu with a cross of Tex-Mex and Mexican food choices. Great bar that doesn't skimp on the shots. Make a point to stop by and check out the friendly atmosphere in good food.
Tuesday dinner on 2/22/2022 at the bar for taco Tuesday on National Margarita Day. Service was friendly and accommodating, food was tasty (pork carnitas for me , chicken fajitas for her), and the margaritas were very pleasant. The assortment of glassware was remarkable, and some of the glasses really added to the entertainment value of their cocktail concoctions. I’ve been passing this place for years and am delighted to have finally stopped in to try it.
