Happened to find this restaurant after our hotel listed it as an option in the list of nearby restaurants. It was small, required a reservation on a Saturday night, but was absolutely great. Spartan place, but the food was terrific. I had the chicken parm and my wife had the lasagna. Both were worthy of taking leftovers (huge portions) and having them again at our destination. I am not loose with my ratings, so let this be a great recommendation.
Went few weeks ago food was amazing!! Our server was spectacular unfortunately I can't remember his name but was like only dude working night I went with my dad. Bread is great, food was on point and service was wonderful. Best veggies I've had hands down. Felt like Nonna was in the back throwing down lol.Only thing is make sure you check your to-go order. Said no mushrooms for my mom's food and it was full of them, she wasn't too happy. But outside of that everything was great will definitely be back!
Not sure how anyone could give this place less than 5 stars. It is a small place and you usually need to make a reservation.The food is EXTREMELY good and the service is also good.I wish they had pictures for some of the plates they serve but you can go online and look at all the pictures of the food dishes that they serve.Everything looks good and the food comes out steaming.
Ordered take out from here this evening and thank god I did. . .I have been wanting to try this place since it opened but just never did.1. I give it a 0 for ambiance. It’s loud and soooooooo tight in there. I’m sure though if one of the spaces next to him opened up for lease he would expand.2. However… the food I saw being served while I waited in a small corner looked SPECTACULAR!!! I was excited about my meal. Everything looked fresh and portions were insane.3. On a scale of 1-5 I give my order/food a 9! When I got home I was full just looking at the portions. I ordered the Pollo Yolanda and a Fettuccine Alfredo. It’s was quite expensive but when it comes to food I don’t really care about prices(some people do) I also received the most generous side of fresh veggies( string beans, carrots, and broccoli) It was DELICIOUS. I couldn’t even finish the portion I dished out at home on my own plate.Overall I would DEFINITELY order from them again but I would never sit down and eat in there. Just to tight for my liking…. Especially with COVID. I mean it was EXTREMELY TIGHT. My 8 year old daughter was like mom what is going on in here? But their food…….AMAZING!!!!
What an amazing place to eat! We went there tonight and I am speechless. The portions are quite generous! Everything is cooked as you order it. There was one server (Anthony) and he took care of all the guests. He did not forget anything esp with being short staffed. I had penne vodka and it was to die for. We weren’t finished with our meals and we were already planning on going again. Our kids had spaghetti as well as Alfredo and they raved about it! Thank you thank you thank you! This place is amazing every single time! Thank you to the chef, your food is out of this world! This is our favorite restaurant and thank you to the staff who make us feel so welcome every time we come! Can't wait to come back!
Phenomenal real Italian food. All fresh and tastes delicious. Very good. Small dining room so plan ahead.
First time at this cozy little restaurant. They serve Excellent, authentic Italian food at reasonable prices. Plus, Hefty portions. Very friendly server. The space was a little small and the decor could be improved on but other than that the overall dining experience was very pleasant. Will definitely return and Highly recommend!
I am going to give this place 4.5 stars. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal. The fried Ravioli were delicious. I thought the price was a big high and the lasagna was OK. The service was great and the portions were really generous. I would dine again there.
This evening we went to the "Caffe Italia" on Big Bend road. We were seated and given very tasty and warm bread. We sat there for close to 45 mins. with no other food. We asked the waiter how much longer before the food will arrive and he said it will be here in a couple of mins.. Ten mins. later I can hear the only other table in the room being served their food and they arrived way after us. I told the waiter we were not pleased and felt like leaving, at that point he spoke to the owner/chief who then came over to us and preceded to tell us that the other party of 5/6 people were regulars and they were spending $400.00 and they placed their order days before they arrived which we found out a few moments later it was a lie. This owner/chief does not know how to talk to customers, was rude and his food was mediocre at best. His bread was 5 stars, his food was 3 stars and lacked flavor. I wont be back anytime soon.
