This is a hard review for me as I did not like the Brandon Sauce that comes on the burger at all so makes it difficult.I was hungry and in the mood for a good burger so thought I would call in one to go at Brandon Burgers right across the street since I had to pick up some medicine from the Publix Pharmacy at Winthrop any way. Called ahead and placed order, person assisting me was friendly and fast taking my order and said it would be ready in 5 minutes. I arrived to pick up 7 minutes later and it was ready. Got it home and it was still warm which is good. I ordered the Single Brandon Burger sub American for Provolone Cheese and added lettuce and pickle. The burger looked very appealing and smelled good as well but when I took the first bite I was disappointed as I massively did not like the taste of the Brandon Sauce at all and overall the burger tasted very salty. Ate a couple more bites then pulled off the pickle, lettuce and meat and ate about 3/4 without the bun since most of the Brandon Sauce I didn't like was on the bun. The hamburger patty was tasty and the bacon was plentiful but nothing special enough that I would pay $8.92 for ever again. Also there was something about the cheese I didn't care for....can't put my finger on it but it just wasn't for me. For this price point I will not be back, the $8.92 was for a single burger only no fries and no drink so just too expensive for what you get for me.
I’m shocked at some of these reviews. I couldn’t be happier I tried this place. I don’t eat red meat so I used to have to go to burger fi to get a decent beyond burger. Lately they’ve been disappointing so I figured I’d try this place out. Ive ordered three times from doordash and the food is excellent and the portions are definitely generous. My family that did love five guys said this is just as good if it better (especially the fries)
I'd share a picture of my burger, but honestly it disappeared so fast there was nothing but crumbs and melted cheese left for the photo. Very good. I highly recommend this place. The Brandon sauce is really good too.
Burgers had absolutely no taste. No kind of seasoning at all. Long wait. Customer service wasn’t bad. Just more so disappointed in how much we spent for food with no kind of flavor. Also, the cooks kept going into the back of the store to get needed items or to not get anything at all (maybe took a quick break) and would come back and continue preparing food without changing their gloves.
Have been wanting to go to this place for a while. Waste of my time and money. My burger wasn’t even what I ordered literally only had 3 out of the 8 toppings I ordered. My husbands burger was so soggy with grease we had to use our own bread. Asked for sauces on the sides and there wasn’t any. $40 down the drain waste of money. The guys in the there looked high which is prob why our order is messed up.
Good burger and fries. Love the build your own options. Would have given an additional stars if it weren't for the poor customer service I have encountered each time I have gone. Tried to give it another try but yet again fell short. I also encountered, as I have seen in other posts, where I ordered the combo (drink & fries included) and was abruptly shut down by staff member that stated this was not true.
I waited over 30 minutes for 2 milkshakes. The three guys working spent more time talking and doing anything other than make milkshakes the whole time. It wasn't terribly busy and people before me were still waiting for stuff. I just wanted 2 milkshakes.
Order was wrong and we had to go back twice for items that we paid for that weren’t made. We found black mold in our cups that we had to let the manager know about. Employee had shoulder length hair that was not pulled back or in a hair net. He was also pulling up his pants and touching the bottom of his shoes with his gloves and then preparing food without changing them. Terrible, terrible, terrible.
Place is kinda wild honestly.Good (4/5 stars) : burger was really good, fries are good and they gave me a ton, and the Brandon sauce is oddly intriguing. Like they went to Chik-fil-a bought every sauce and mixed them in a bucket.Bad (1/5 stars) : drink machine full of fruit flies. When I dispensed water a bunch got in my cup and I effectively just decided not to drink. Employees were rushing me to order when I was the only one here.Weird: you can get rice, cucumber, and raw mushroom on your burger bowl so you can be like one shake of sesame seeds away from an authentic Japanese Donburi bowl.Note: you can get a bowl without a bun but I would not consider this a gluten free safe option as most of the products here touch bread at some point and the fries are frozen coated ones and those glazes often contain wheat gluten in addition to starch.The Sunday special hit me for $8 which I thought was fair but I wouldn't pay any more for this quality.
Didn’t have the greatest experience I ordered from Uber eats just a burger fries and a shake never got a straw or any sides condiments especially when I have specified it. The fries Were okay The burger tasted really weird and soggy I took one bite and just threw it away.
