The Wood Fire Pizzas are out of this world! The soups are awesome! Everything we've had there has been delicious. The Tiramisu is heavenly! The service is excellent too!

The only thing that prevents a 5 is i don't give 5s for a first visit.Sweet little pizza joint on Taylor Street.Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Good selection of Italian apps, salads, entrees and yes, pizza. Choice of red and white pies. Very creative specialty pizza along with some of old favorites, like Pepperoni. Nice choices for red and white wines. Their house wine is a delicious Montepulciano. We had 2 glasses each!We ordered the Pepperoni and the Biancaneve. Made with a thin but chewy crust, they were perfect. After devouring the pizza we ordered a Tiramasu and Cannolli for a takeaway, which are homemade!We had a terrific waitress, Mary; very informative, uber attentive and timely. In a time where finding good help is at a premium, she is a keeper!!!!!This place is a truly Italian family, to the point where a lovely Italian banter between the waitresses filled the air adding to a great atmosphere.We will definitely be back!
They have the best pizza I have ever had. The owners are very friendly and we love CC as our server. It is a small place but if you have to wait a little it is worth the wait. ?
My daughter was wanting pizza while we were in town, and I wasn't really sure where to get a good one. So we picked this place and I'm glad we did. We shared a pepperoni pizza and it was really good. It arrived at the table quickly and was hot & fresh. Our server was friendly and attentive. I'd definitely recommend it!
I absolutely love Pizza Gorda. My daughter took me there today. Superior ingredients, sauce perfect, fabulous wood fired crust. We're Italian & from NY & know good Italian food. The menu has something for everyone. I can't wait to go back to try more dishes. Maybe tomorrow? I love the quaint atmosphere too. Simply fabulous! ?
Went with family and had a variety plates, pizza and a bottle of wine. Everything was delicious. The service was great and the owners were very friendly. I would highly recommend this Restaurant.
This is my new favorite restaurant. Was there with a group of 8. The service was fantastic and the food outstanding. We sat outside it was so wonderful. Can't say enough wonderful things about this restaurant and the amazing staff. Will be going back and this is now my go to restaurant to take visitors. Thank you Pizza Gorda.
Amazing, friendly, personal service and absolutely delicious pizza. If you don't eat there when you're in/near Punta Gorda, you're missing out!
This was our second time at Pizza Gorda. It never disappoints. The food is superb Italian. Very fresh ingredients. The staff is very friendly and makes you feel like you’re in their home. Nico (owner) is so fun. Our 1yr old grandson was with us and was getting a little fussy. Nico brought him a round of pizza dough. He was entertained the rest of the meal. Love this place.
