Very good food and drinks. Off season, so we had the place almost to ourselves. We had flatbread eggplant pizza and a veggie burger. It was so good I had one the next day too! Sara and another girl served us at the bar and pool. Top notch service. The view is incredible up there. Overlooking port Charlotte in the bridge, plus the city of Punta Gorda. You can’t beat it
This was our second visit with this roof top restaurant.Food is fantastic! Great flavors & fresh. Staff very friendly & courteous. Will go again! The view over the bay is awesome. ❤
Last time I went, I paid $66 for 2 standard breakfasts (with two drinks) that arrived very late, couldn't even get the drinks to arrive on time, refills - forget it. They seem to have an issue with staffing. If you are planning to get breakfast during the weekend you may want to make sure they have enough staff available to cover the breakfast rush or you'll just be sitting around for a very long time being constantly apologized to. Waitress seemed to be on another world.
This is a wonderful location overlooking Charlotte Harbour and on a sunny evening you can’t beat it. The food is pretty good and there’s a nice drink menu. Unfortunately there just wasn’t enough staff to manage all the food and drink orders. We stayed patient and called the visit a win. Thanks to our server who hustled as best she could with too many tables and a very slow kitchen.
First, it was very irritating that we couldn't raise the umbrella or take it out of the stand (due to high winds) so this huge barrier was in the middle of the small table where our party of four sat. Second, the two women who waited on us couldn't seem to get things right about either my drink order, food order, or bill. I recognize that many restaurants are short-staffed at this time, but it doesn't give you license to patronize and disrespect your customers with bad service and bad attitudes. This was a very disappointing experience compared to the first time I dined there in November 2020.
Honestly, you would think the sunset could take the place of average to good service, but not at this place. We sat at a dirty table for 40 min and had to beg for someone to just come around and help us. When she finally had time to stop, she explained she was just too busy to take our drink order, then she asked us if that was ok??Honestly Punta Gorda- if you think this is the place to be, better get people equipped to deal with it. This is a stop we will not make again. We paid for our bottle of wine ( honestly, they would have never even known if we’d hightailed it out of there, sans bill.) we planned to eat but realized we would never get our food.Laishleys was so far superior to this. Even after a busy night, our quality drinks came to us on time, our crab legs were ordered and delivered by efficient staff- they we’re excellent. We will not be going to Perch 36” again- sunset or not. Very disappointing!!
Was our favorite Sunday morning spot but won't be going back. Bloody Mary was nothing more than a bottle mix with vodka and breakfast potatoes were terrible. Too bad. Great views.
Do not bother going here to watch the sunset. The rooftop is north east facing .. you literally have to hang your head off the side of the building to try and get a glimpse of the sunset. Poorly designed in that respect. They were severely under staffed but still friendly and appreciative. Would return midday or in the evening for a cocktail, but not specifically to attempt to watch the sunset with guests.
This is a rooftop bar that has a swimming pool and that serves food. Bar was not well stocked, beer taps did not work, so no draft beer, in fact many of the items advertised in the menus were not available. Service was poor. This is meant to be a high-end place, and the price for everything matched that description without the required delivery. Only redeeming feature is the view. On the upside, the bar and restaurant located on the first floor was excellent, and had all of the items that the roof top bar did not have. Go figure, was it just the management of the roof top bar that was lacking?Visit to the rooftop 360 bar, not recommendedVisit to the ground floor bar and restaurant, recommended.
Went to have tapas and small plates. When we got there, there were only two unfilled tables (6-8 people) and were closed. Waitress told us about a table that had closed their ticket, so we stayed close by. Ladies offered us a seat with them while they paid. But, waitress seemed to lose track of us. Finally took drink order and got a drink. Then we were told the kitchen staff was on break for 25 minutes. After arriving at 5:50, we finally had food at 7:40. Dinner was done by 8:15. Ordered chicken tacos and Ahi Tuna Nachos, not complicated. They had a kitchen meltdown, which was hard, but it could have been handled by staff better, many guests left. Great view from the roof and enjoyed the sunset and water views.
