OMG!!! We just tried the garlic knots!! Thank God we both ate them, so much garlic ? best I've ever had! Also had Monty's special pizza. Fantastic! If I wasn't so full I'd orders more.???
Good service and as always great food.They were very busy but I got my food in very reasonable time. Yes I will go there again.
We love Monty's and dine there often. We have also introduced friends and family to them. The food is excellent and they have great gluten free options. Happy hour is "buy 1 get 1 free"! Service is friendly and efficient!
Best garlic knots ever!! Followed by the worst shrimp scampi, shrimp were extremely rubbery and over cooked, almost like they threw pre cooked shrimp from a bag in at the last minute. Special Monty pizza is always great.
I have lived in PC for 38 years. Eaten at Monty’s on and off all my adult life, when open. I went by today after a long day at 8:26 and they are open till 9. I was told by the four staff up front that they just sat a three top and would not seat me. Since they were going to close at 8:30. I was alone at the end of my day and hungry a loyal customer and they refused to seat me. I was hurt, embarrassed and hungry. I will never return again! 14 cars in the lot, bar still serving and at least 20 people eating and I as a single person was told no!
We stopped by for lunch in late April. It was noon on a Tuesday. About 4-5 tables occupied. We were seated right away. Ordered the tuba wrap , wedding soup, salad & angel hair with sausage. Everything was great. Our server Elisa was very good.
I was so looking forward to eating at Monty's but it was quite disappointing. The salads were okay but nothing special. The entrees- chicken Marsala and veal parm were really bland- like zero flavor- and the pasta was very over cooked. How on earth can an Italian restaurant be successful when basics like Marsala and parm are so poorly done. Won't be back anytime soon.
Decent food, slow servers and rude, for no reason, in the bar they take car of you when they want, not coming again
Too long a wait in Fri so we decided to try again after beach yesterday..Only a few minutes and we were seated .And the fun began. The waitress was such fun . I ordered a Calzone with peppers onion and mushroom .She brought it and apologized,forgot the mushrooms..Then it started..I told her she would have dreams of dancing mushrooms....When we packed half my Calzone to take home I told her it only fit because there were no mushrooms.. What a delight.. certainly enjoyed..and tipped accordingly..
We went with 3 other couples at 4:30 on a Friday evening. The 8 of us were seated in a matter of moments. (I must explain that it’s Southwest Florida during the busy winter season & you have to dine out early to be seated without a long wait!). Elsa, our wonderful server, greeted us shortly thereafter. Our adult beverages were served promptly after we ordered them. In spite of the fact that pizza is prevalent on the menu, we all ordered entrées. I had a very scrumptious shrimp scampi on angel hair pasta (you get to choose your on pasta). My husband opted for the shrimp Parmesan. We had plenty and actually took home leftovers. Everyone in our group was very pleased with every aspect of this restaurant!
