great food always ,clean and friendly
Had Lunch w/a girlfriend last week ?The food , attendants, and service is was all wonderful & very good.The new folks that took over?? Are doing a great job! Everything seemed to be organized and Clean. You all who haven't been or stopped going should definitely Try it Soon. I had not been in quite a few years & was pleasantlySurprised. Hope to go again soon.
The Cape coral location is about 12 minutes from my house, and from now on I will travel to this one in the Punta Gorda location. Our experience was great from start to finish. We walked in and was greeted by Ashley who was not only very polite, but even had a good sense of humor. Meanwhile, our waitress was busy at the moment and in need of a refill, Jessica, without even thinking, automatically filled up our drinks and also had an amazing sense of humor. I past her getting a new plate a couple different times, and every time I saw her, she had a smile on her face. The place was clean and the food was constantly being turned over. It was nice to see it hot and steaming every time I went up. I always appreciate the people that can handle, well, other people. That's worth going back in itself.. Keep up the good work Jessica and Ashley!
The booths are all teared up and have gigantic holes in them. It seems like they haven't remodeled in over a decade, nor do they care to do so. The food was the real disappointment, it tasted horrendously old and some foods had that frozen taste as well. I don't remember the food tasting so bad before, undoubtedly it's stored far longer than needed. McDonald's and Taco Bell with all means are not considered five star dining restaurants obviously. They are not known for being exquisite cuisines. But its really strange knowing that there food taste significantly fresher and ultimately better than Golden corral food and to top it off, it's technically cheaper.
Server was the highlight of my meal I had. Always ready with a refill before I even had to ask.The food was horrendous, low quality, and lacking of taste. I understand the crowd that was eating there wouldn't notice, as it looked like a retirement home when I went, but Golden Corral has fallen off of what I remember from going years ago.The limited menu of choices was shocking as well. I don't think I will go back anytime soon, if ever.
A favorite place to eat, always! No need to wait, no need to make any reservation, and the food is always great! This time I tried something different, and I loved it. I think I will try the Mexican buffet next time, I never did that before. There you go, there is always something new you can try, there are so many choices!
I saw the commercial for the endless shrimp and very disappointed when I arrived. All of the food sucked.
We had a party of nine and sat in the back room so we could talk without disturbing other people. Everything I put on my plate was delicious. The carrot cake was out of this world. I highly recommend it.
The staff was great! The food not so much! My fried chicken was completely gooey, the Mac and cheese was over cooked, my husband got a raw burger. I'm talking the meat was cool to the touch not just rare cooked.
I haven't been to Golden Corral in years but this location i have to rave for. Great customer service. The waitresses were quick and attentive. Shoot before I even finished my coke I already had a new one. And I tried lots of different dishes from the buffet and I didn't have one that disappointed. Give Golden Corral a chance and you won't regret it.
