Prices are great, but the food quality and service left much to be desired. I ordered the chicken cordon bleu. It was simply ok taste wise. The portion size was plentiful. There was a piece of ham laid on top and then cheese on top of that, it wasn’t stuffed. Mashed potatoes did not taste homemade, instant at best. I am not sure I’d return unless I’m looking for a cheap bill.
Had two pancakes and excessively greasy scrambled eggs and a cup of coffee. I wanted to try this place so I tried it and won't be going back. The woman added a surcharge. I said nothing. I won't be going back nor will I tell anyone I know to go there. Food was blah, the place was blah.
I’ve been going here for years for breakfast and lunch. Very good food with quick service!
Husband loved his biscuits & sausage gravy. I had a gyro meat & cheese omelet. It was good but have had better. Hash browns were precooked potatoes, then fried to have some crispiness. I liked them. Coffee was good as well as service. Not 5 stars because my side of the table was all sticky and there was just something about the omelet. Lots of tables and people, seemed like a very comfortable place to go.
I love Elena's! Hot, generous portions and efficient staff. Another star if they would improve their dessert selections!
Ate there last week and was disappointed in the service and quality of the food. It used to be so good. Now just marginal.
First time there for lunch, very busy, just a 10 minute wait for a booth. The waitress was quick to take our drink orders returning soon after for food order. Had the cheesesteak sub with fries. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. Will definitely come back to try the breakfast.
We have a group that does Thu breakfast every week. We go here every 6-7 weeks. They have daily specials for breakfast, lunch & dinner. The breakfasts are great and includes coffee of $1 off if no coffee. I had 2 eggs, 2 sausages, potatoes, toast & coffee for under $10. everything was great. very good service.
When in Punta Gorda we always have breakfast at Elena's. They have some specials every day and the waitstaff is very friendly and the breakfasts are great. Get there early though..everyone knows this is the place for breakfast.
In the times I have eaten here, I've always dined in. I prefer supporting local business, where ever I go. They stay fairly busy. They aren't open to serve dinner. I've never had a bad meal in whatever my choice of the day.
