The food is amazing and the desserts are to die for! The staff is friendly, kind, and very helpful. An excellent place for a cozy and peaceful night out!

The only Italian restaurant within 30 miles that’s worth going to. Impeccable authenticity and the chef is outrageous.
Perfect place, but if your want to order the Bada Bing be sure to request indoor seating. Disappointed we couldn’t get that at an outside table.
Lovely atmosphere on the covered patio with plenty of fans and cold water for the table. I got the Shrimp and Scallop Limoncello and it was divine. My husband got a steak dish, also delicious. Kiddo got the kids spaghetti and meatball, the meatball is one of the best I've ever had outside my Nana's kitchen. The pasta is made fresh and you can really taste the difference. Fantastic service too!
The 16 oz grilled bone in Ribeye with herbed butter cooked to perfection @ medium rare, toasted ravioli were really good as was the entree of Chicken Valentia .Good idea to make reservations, great service & atmosphere.

It was my 20th birthday and I am so happy I decided to spend it at Carmelo's. It was my first time here and I had the nicest server, She was so sweet with the best recommendation.(I believe her name was Celeste) The food was amazing, and they were even sweet enough to make me a special caramel Cappuccino. Thank you so much Carmelo's for making this such a special night. I recommend all newcomers. By far the best Italian cuisine i've ever had.
I travel with my service dog and I do appreciate a quiet corner table. Carmelo’s always meets my needs. A lovely relaxing dinner with my beloved. Veal Parmesan for him and fillet mignon for me. Both cooked to perfection. Raspberry Limoncello cake for dessert. Music perfect for the evening …saxophone! Javier well seasoned server never made us feel rushed and always ready to anticipate our wishes! A perfect end of season evening. We will be back in October.
Absolutely Ten Stars ? the most amazing meal ever. Nothing in Port Charlotte can touch it. I am Italian and Sicilian and believe me when I say. This is the absolute best ever. Try the surf and turf and ask for the steak to melt like butter you will be glad you did. Accompanied by and old fashion with a side of amaretto. OmG the most amazing meal and night out. Brought me home....
Wow! What and awesome experience! Such amazing staff and excellent food! Our waitress, Linda was one of a kind. So friendly and kind. Also, Anthony and Joseph were just the best! And the older man playing music, he set the mood! We will make sure to tell all our friends that this is the restaurant of Punta Gorda! Thanks again!
