We're in town visiting for the week, and went to Brooklyn Joe's our first night, just to grab something quick and easy. The service was above and beyond, incredibly fast and friendly staff. High quality pizza with yummy crust and sauce. I'm glad we tried this place our first night, because we will most definitely be back!
Order the dinner eggplant for $15.... only one piece....it was tasty though and so was the angel hair. Mentioned to the staff that perhaps the dinner portion and the "specials" portion was mixed up and she checked and was told no that was the correct portion size.Nice place though...but not enough food for $15
Very good pizza. We also bought a ball of dough. Wow!!! Fantastic dough.will certainly return.
Have considered this place for 5 stars in the past. Fully understanding the challenges facing all restaurants these days. Understanding the need to cut portions OR raising prices, but NOT both for a given item. Always loved the Antipasto salad, the best around. Price has gone from $11.75 to $14 now is mostly all greens with very little meat, cheese, etc.
Called for delivery - I understand all is busy and the girl on the phone acted as though this was an imposition to take our order - but on a Wednesday night take a moment to talk to your customer. We love this place and the food and will return
The Best pizza in the area by far!! I really love Brooklyn Joe's Pizza in Punta Gorda. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Great food and delivery. I'm Italian and I rarely ever think Italian food outside my own cooking is up to par.I highly recommend them.
The pizza is good the prices are good what warrants 2 stars is that they only sell slices from 11 to 3. You can't call yourself Brooklyn Joe's and not sell slices it's just not New York style. I could even understand not having specialty slices on display but it would it really kill you to not have a large regular pie to sell slices especially for dinner time or people who work late.
Pizza very average, vegetables on pizza did not taste fresh very soggy and bland. Crust was ok.
We did take out. They were ready on time, polite and appreciative service. We had chicken parm and eggplant. Meals were each plentiful, extra sauce as requested and very tasty. Good value . So glad to have great option in the neighborhood!!!
