Only giving 2 stars begs of the customer service. The food deserves 1 star. I really wanted to like this food but I couldn’t it was horrible. The custom service was really good and the prices are affordable, the food however was disgusting I order house fried rice veggie fried rice chicken wings 2 egg rolls and a pound of craw fish omg it was horRible
I order a combo C from this place on line, it’s a half pound snow crab legs, half pound shrimp, half pound sausage, 2 corn, 2 potatoes and 1 egg. They did not send what I order 3 crab legs and shrimp with about a dozen and a half of mussels. 1 corn and the eggs.. they know they don’t have what comes in the combo, they should cancel the order. I am very disappointed. And I call the manager said it’s extra items.. no customer service etiquette.
Price is not bad, but that's all I can say good. Absolutely hardly any flavor, barely any sauce and the crispy strips for the wonton soup and the crab rangoon tasted stale. We ordered 4 dinner combos, 2 appetizers and extra fried rice. I'll tell you there's no way anybody will convince me that mine and my mom's general tso's chicken was correct, it tasted straight up like orange chicken. I read the reviews before we ordered and decided to still give it a shot and was sadly disappointed.
I guess its time to find a new one. When I first moved here 3 years ago, this was the best Chinese food in town, and the old owner (a little women who had gone through some struggles, but so sweet) greeted you at the counter. The food was great & plentiful, and the prices were reasonable, however; since the pandemic hit I've noticed that the kids took over and slowly the food changed, less portions, not the same quality, and prices increasing, this last order was duplicated from the my last one minus 1 egg roll but the price was higher than just a month ago. Seems the changes over the past few years have brought higher prices & less quality to the same items purchased for 4 years. So sorry but it is time to find a new Chinese take out
The food was terribly salty. Horrific. The crab rangoons were dry and were very underfilled. The sweet and sour chicken was nearly unedible. And that would have been okay if the customer service when we tried to get a refund was good. But the older woman had an disgusting attitude. Saying things like "whatever" and being loud. The food that wasnt terrible was mediocre. And I understand not getting all of my money back because we did eat some of it but she sounded really impatient and rude.
Ok I recently had somewhat a bad experience at jade bowl but found out it was only a mistake. With that been said I understand nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes. Truth is I will be the first to say I absolutely love this place, not because its convenient but because I love there food. I will always recommend this place. I recently purchased the seafood there and I really enjoyed it. I ordered the pound of head on shrimp in garlic butter with cajun and it was delicious! I cant wait to try the crab legs and maybe even the lobster. Anyway I highly recommend the Jade Bowl. Thanks Susan
This was our first time getting food from here. My kids love snow crab so I figured I’d surprise them and pick them up the snow crab bag. I picked up and since you can’t go inside, you literally pick up at a make shift window outside, I didn’t check my order like I should have. I get all the way home and realize I’m missing one of the orders of snow crab. I call to let them know I’m missing one and they tell me they put them all together in the same bag. This is not true considering there’s only one corn and one thing of crab! They were so rude and told me they’ll only give me a corn because snow crab is expensive they wouldn’t give me the rest of my order! Seriously??? I paid over $50 and and didn’t even get all my food! The food we did get was ok, but I’ll never go back. Just check your food before you leave!! The customer service here sucks!
The food is fresh and good. I love the pork fried rice and fried chicken wings. Also the beef broccoli with white rice. I suggest you try this place for lunch.
Ordered for the first time today because they were one of the only Asian restaurants open past 9 pm. We had 2 orders of vegetable rolls & 1 order of bourbon chicken. Both my husband and I agreed this place was not a repeat. The vegetable rolls internal texture was something like mashed potatoes but slicker & they had on overpowering garlic flavor (BTW - I love garlic). The bourbon chicken did not taste like any bourbon chicken I have ever had - the flavor of 5 Spice (specifically anise or fennel) was really overpowering to the point where I actually bit into a seed (presumably anise?) and it was kinda dry. Weird.I would like to compliment them though on how seriously the are taking COVID-19. It is clear that they want to keep everyone healthy by the design of the makeshift to go door (the inside of the restaurant is closed).
Well - it wasn't what I expected, but I'm giving it 4 stars because it was full of fresh vegetables (carrots, broccoli, baby corn, water chestnuts, mushrooms, green peppers, onions and bok choi) and a lot of shrimp. It was in a very good spicy brown sauce. I'd order it again! What I ordered, though, was spicy shrimp in red sauce, which is normally prepared with diced sautéed onions in a spicy tomato-based sauce., so I was initially disappointed.
