Food would have been okay if it had meat in it. 7 pieces of ham between both Big Country skillet and The Everything omelet. The skillet had very little bacon, sausage and ham as well. The kids pancakes where great. Unfortunately I spent over half of my meal with an empty drink, never got refilled... after the food was served the waitress only brought our check at the end, never checked on us.Will not be going back to this Perkins sadly.
I really love Perkins! Their food is fresh and perfectly seasoned. Vegetables are fresh and crisp and as a Vegetarian, that means so much to me. Meats, seafood, pasta..you can get anything you like here.Let's talk pastries!! Muffins galore...big and tasty.Pies..oh yeah!! Peanut Butter Pie is my favorite and they large a nice selection of pies and other ? desserts. Great menu with amazing prices. Whether you're on a budget or not...you can't beat their prices.Restaurant is always clean and the staff if friendly and caring.Handicapped ♿️ parking and an incline, kind of like a ramp to easily push a wheelchair up or down.I recommend Perkins for any meal...breakfast, lunch or dinner...or coffee and dessert. You won't be disappointed.
I often dream of finding the perfect diner... This is not it. Ordered a salad that was more cheese than lettuce, ask for grilled chicken to be added to it and was served on a separate plate. WholeI got there wild berry pie, at the request of the waitress, only to be terribly disappointed without artificial / not fresh it was. For the same price I'd go absolutely anywhere else.Service was friendly, and bathrooms were clean!
It was great. Our server (Yeditza) was very friendly, polite and professional. Our order arrived in good time and was perfect. My only problem was hearing the way she was treated at a table near by and I have to say she handled it with professionalism. We are visiting from Miami and if ever in the area we will come back to Perkins for the great service. THANK YOU YEDITZA!
After our first experience was a disaster from beginning to end, we accepted the fact that any business may have a day or eve of issues and decided somewhat hesitantly to go back to give it another chance. And it was the best thing we could ever have done. (We have been back, back and back again after that)The food is always well made, well presented and served hot, the sweet tea is one of the best in PSL in my book, the pies and desserts are to die for and never again have we had any issues with service. This is a place where the people at the next table are as lightly to greet you as you sit down as the staff are when you walk in, where the specials such as free pie day and 2 for $20 or BOGOF meal deals for those who register with Perkins absolutely rock, the manager Rose is a star and the staff will do everything they can to make your visit the best.
I really like Perkins but it's been awhile since I have visited (the pandemic kept me away). The food (at least my order) was delicious! The price is still reasonable and generous portions.
Food doesn’t come together. Second attempt there. Short staffed. Won’t be back.
good pancakes and fruit syrups, not just maple
The food is good every once in a while. But the service is mostly great. Can't blame the wait staff for the food not always being good. I do like them though because they have good food choices to choose from
Used to love this place but now the last three visits have made me not want to go back. Twice no one answered the phone I had to go in and order and wait a half hour in the parking lot for take out. The second time it happened I asked for a manager and he said the phone didn't ring so I showed my phone showing 12 phonecards to them so he checked the phone and said one of the waitresses must have pulled the phone wire out again. Learned from another employee that this manager is slick and lazy. Last night the female manager was on so she answered, took the order and all was well...until we tried to eat the food. Completely inedible! Had the steak and peppers which was burnt to a crisp. Steaks was just gristle and no meat and it was beyond well done. The potatoes burnt rocks and the peppers were completely black. Had soup which was so cold they must of just taken a cup from the refrigerator. The other entree contained raw not rare steak with so much sinew you couldn't cut it and 4 pieces of what i'll call very blackened asparagus. I know if I called this manager she would've given us new meals but the cook is so terrible it wouldn't be worth it. In all until they give the new male manager the boot and get a new cook it's just not worth the trip. Sad because we really liked this place!
