Great place to get food Caribbean food. The manager takes the time to make sure you are comfortable in every way. Sometimes they get real busy, so make sure to check your order before you leave.
The worst customer service ever . I thought the lady behind the counter was just having a bad day but shameful Me . After 3rd visit I’m convinced she needs a new career . Business owners invest in quality customer service . Poor service will drag your business in the ground. I’m a true believer in supporting small businesses.
The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just as wonderful.
Ordered a "large" curry goat dinner for $13.95! Sad to say, just...not...a good meal! The "curry goat" was a scant cup of tiny goat pieces no larger than my thumbnail most attached to bone, it had more carrots and potato than goat! The rice and peas were dry and flavorless, disappointing. The veg was just a bit of filler, maybe1/4 cup if that, of hard bits of cabbage with more carrot than cabbage and no flavor there as well! The trending veg throughout was carrot almost as a filler to stretch volume, which wouldn't be so bad if you received an acceptable amount of goat for the $13.95 "large" portion that was chosen and paid for! I wonder what the "small" order would be? A Tablespoon of goat! Guess I shouldn't have strayed from where I normally order!
Let me 1st off say I support small businesses and I also support black businesses but ALWAYS support Caribbean restaurants Every chance I can. I don't leave a lot of reviews But I do leave reviews on places that I feel should work on either customer service but most importantly they're food. I did not check the reviews I have seen this place several times living in this area for over 10 years. And I must have To say that yes I was absolutely disappointed disappointed not only on the portion of the food but the food itself which is it is the oxtail that's what I got. I have eaten at a few restaurants in port Saint Lucie Jamaican restaurants D&D on port Saint Lucie boulevard is by far the besthough best yes it was far away from me so I grabbed what was close by at the time and I and I do agree with that 1st person that left that review wait for the places that you know is good because this place definitely was not up to any standard of Jamaican food and I'm really disappointed.
SO in the reviews everyone raves about the food I'm from the islands and my food was not good at all it was way way way under cook the meat was hard and was not good and the potatoes and carrots were so hard it made no sense to put them in gravy I won't be eating here again but to each their own this was the just the plate I got I ended up throwing it away and I was really hungry and the plate was a dissapointment
Yea food wasn't good again. Everytime I try and give them another chance I always end up disappointed and a waste of money.
Make sure to get there b4 7PM, or your Favorite dishes will be SOLD OUT
It was amazing experience, first time Jamaican foods for me. I got oxtails, very rich flavor, enjoyed the dish a lot. I also had the peanut drink, it was like eating peanut butter but liquid, weird but good tatse. The downside was the service quite slow, they have like 2-3 people working, but overall was okay.
This restaurant has served PSL for a very long time. I've used them for catering many times! The food is always excellent and Mr. James is very professional. I also love that I can call them up on the same day and order a tray of Jerk Chicken; it is always a hit at all of my last minute get togethers.
