Excellent breakfast
Went here for breakfast and ordered a breakfast sandwich (bacon egg and cheeseon a kaiser roll over medium and hashbrowns). The eggs were so runny couldn't even eat it as a sandwich and it was on a hamburger bun not a kaiser roll. Hashbrowns had no flavor and the coffee wasn't great either. No one asked me if I needed a refill or how is everything. Then only my server could ring me up and had to wait to pay the bill....Bad experience overall with many other choices available in the area
I went for breakfast, was sated at the counter and ordered coffee, they brought the coffee but didn't come back for my order. I watched other tables having their order taken and tables being bussed, but no one came back to take my order. I got fed up with waiting and left a dollar for the cup of coffee that I didn't even taste. Linda's café in saint Lucie west has superb service. For a place to go local to me I guess I'll have to go to Rick's since Linda's is too far and Linda's too has horrible service.
Have stopped by many times for Breakfast, always great. I cant get enough of their pancakes. I usually am a pig and get the TALL STACK. I don't know how they make them but they have to be the best I have ever had.
This is a fabulous, fabulous place!! I just love browsing around, talking to the friendly people working there and checking out all the variety of fantastic florida souvenirs.
Imagine ordering rye toast with your eggs and when it comes out of the kitchen, you can see that the cook took an end, sliced it on a machine and gave you the thinnest overdone toast in history. Tasteless homefries and nothing special.
Worst food and service I have ever experienced. Ordered a "chicken wrap" and there was no chicken in it. Should have been called a lettuce wrap. What little chicken that was on it was dry and tasteless. My husband ordered breakfast and coffee, his coffee was never refilled, nor was my tea, until I asked for a refill to go. Not once did our server, or anyone for that matter, stop and ask about our food or if we needed anything....... and the place was more that half empty, so not like they were slammed. had really hoped good things for this place, extremely disappointed and will not be back. Don't waste your time or money. Wanted to add, no one said hello when you walked in, no one said goodbye when you left. They sat us at a tiny table next to the counter where the silverware was sitting on the counter next to us exposed to diners coughing etc. not sanitary.
I am a big fan of Linda's Cafe in Saint Lucie West and this new US 1 branch doesn't disappoint. Food is good quality home cooked diner style, friendly and efficient wait staff - and of course, right priced! I felt sure that I had written a review for a recent lunch or breakfast, but wasn't able to find it! Breakfast is wonderful here, and as in the SLW shop, they have a daily fresh selection of bagels from Bagel Brothers in Tradition delivered every morning. Linda, the engine behind both establishments, can be found at various times in both locations. She runs a tight ship! Try this new location.
This is a diner that cooks like mom used to. The breakfasts are good with homemade potatoes. The macaroni salad is a gem. The chef salad has lots of meat. Homemade soups each day. Inside/outside eating. Look for the big shell on the highway. Get your food receipt to get 10% off in the gift shop. Most entrees are around 6-$8.
