The inside is nicely decorated, the food doesn't take much time to come out, the service is good, the food is even better. All and all a great place to enjoy a meal
Dined here 6 months ago and left dissatisfied. Decided to give it another try and glad I did. Last time the sauce on the wings was minimal. This time they were hot, juicy, and lost in sauce. The salad with the key lime dressing was perfect and the onion rings crunchy and served with a spicy sauce. With a cold beer, I was a happy camper.
Got here about 12:30 on a Sunday, just my son and I. Only 2 tables that were already seated (4-top who had their food and a 8-top). We were greeted nicely and drinks order taken. By the time she got back with the drinks, we had already decided and placed our food order. Then sat and sat and sat....and.....yep sat. Over 50min of waiting for a quesadilla and chicken sandwich. I asked the waitress if they had a full kitchen staff, thinking that may be the issue, but nope, a full crew back there. I might have excused it, if the restaurant was full or had several large parties but I just can't fathom why an order this small could take so long when the place was virtually empty. The to top it off, the food was luke warm and underseasoned and the chicken sandwich was made completly wrong. Very disappointed to say the least.
I was living in Port Saint Lucie Florida for about 18 months while working on a contract and had the wings from here several times.The wings are delicious a wide variety of flavors, the prices are decent, the service is prompt and friendly.
Always great service and nice outdoor seating. I love the crunchy coconut shrimp tacos with pineapple along with a really cold beer. Good menu and you should be able to easily find a dish that you will enjoy. Highly recommend
We have visited this hurricanes twice now. Once outside and played trivia with others which was fun and recently just decided to go last minute and ate inside. Very clean and the staff are great. Food is good and I have no complaints honestly. Guess my only gripe is the prices but I think the days of a $10 burger are over...temporary hopefully...and we have entered the $15+ burger at restaurants. I can't remove a star due to the prices bc it's everywhere now. If you are looking for good "step above" bar food...some tvs...beers all for a fair current price then I recommend you go. The building architecture is nice too. I in fact recommend this one in particular.
After having a great Sunday birthday at the beach. We decided to stop at hurricanes from a quick dinner, we arrived at 6 seated our selfs were we waited about 20 mins for a waiter to start our order. We ended up approaching a waiter and she took our drink and starters orders. We received our drinks and appetizers which were pretty good so we were optimistic. we also put in our orders of 3 wings 3 fries and a burger and fries. After about 45 mins we had our waiter tell us the cooks lost there food slips and needed to get our orders again, we waited for about another 30 mins were soggy fries were brought out and about 10 mins later our wings. Unfortunately the burger did not arrive for another 30 mins at this point everyone else had finished there meal. Multiple people complained about waiting for someone to service then and left through this time.Aside from the burger also being disgusting the service was horrible and I would not recommended going here. Especially when you have to wait 2 1/2 hours for wings and a burger. If I could put zero stars I would.
Use to be a great place to go now service is horrible, they didn’t have a bartender so the waiter made the Bloody Mary which is now a disgusting bottled mix never use to be served with nothing - no olive, celery, etc just a freaking glass of watered down bloody mix with about a splash of vodka and they charged $8!!! Food portions are now laughable and prices are ridiculous! Pick one to change not both!!! $42 for the absolute worse lunch experience we’ve ever had!!!
Stopped by this place for a nightcap after dinner. Sat outside and it took longer to get a drink after we ordered, than the table near us took to get food. We swore this place off for food years ago, after a couple bad experiences. but figured stopping in for a drink would be ok. Wrong! Customer service and attitude of staff is still horrible.
Hurricanes is the best wing place period, in the entire USA. Other places make garlic parmesean wings, but not like them, and nothing beats their garlic parmesean fries. I really regret that they were closed on my last visit to Florida, I believe due to COVID but anytime I'm there, this place is a must. This location in particular is very beautiful, right by a pretty lake (or pond) that you can have a nice walk by after or before eating. I do want to add though, that its been over 2 years since I was there and I'd take newer reviews into consideration when choosing whether or not to go there, Hurricanes overall is fantastic, but it seems from others reviews that service hasn't been the best lately, hopefully that will change, because this place used to be amazing.
