Ive been eating at Hunan for 27 years. Way back when they used to be a bigger sit down restauarnt where the civic center currently is (right behind the Bealls Outlet) they used to be the best and after today's meal, I have to say it was the worst. I've eaten here a few times over the past few years because it's convenient to my work, but my new go to is in Tradition. The sesame chicken was hard and dry, the fried rice was just awful. I've never ever had this bad of a meal here, I knew it had gone downhill but this was just the worst one yet, and I won't be returning sadly.
I'm surprised how good the food is. Not oily, none of the food is dry. Great prices for what you get, and they're fast.
They have the worst wonton soup here and the chicken isnt fresh

The closest to New England style Chow Mein I have had .. chicken wings and fingers were great but would have been better if the order was complete .
I always order food from here and its usually good but I don’t know if it was just the day or what but I ordered boneless spare ribs and it just didn’t taste good at all. Very dry and no flavor. I’m so disappointed!
Food is good but got a nasty sore throat after eating the chicken. And no I wasent sick at all to begin with!

Usually I’m very pleased with the food but today, last night actually, not up to usual quality. Shrimp lo mein was good but steamed/pan fried dumplings were terrible! They were like chewing rubber and the meat inside was hard and dry. Ate one and threw away the rest. I will let them know because every place can have off days. Very careful COVID practices during this time and I appreciate that!
