We have eaten here before and enjoyed the food. Sadly, everything has gone downhill. Due to our schedules, we order A LOT from Uber Eats etc. The last three times our orders were wrong. Yes, Uber Eats refunds the money, but the point is we don't have our food. Tonight our ENTIRE order was wrong. We paid the fuel-surcharge and tip rightfully to our driver. Now we have to go and get our food which isn't close to our home (yay gas prices) I walk in to get my re-order AND ITS STILL WRONG! Another woman was waiting for her correct order as well. When I called to voice my concerns before driving there, she let me know this is no isolated incident. The "manager" Osmany apparently is also a realtor so you can imagine the attention he gives to running a restaurant (sarcastically meaning none) Order at your own risk, but be prepared to have to return to get the correct order.
1st time my family and I went here was absolutely delicious..2nd time was close to there closing time and while we were eating the waitress was literally sweeping the floor right by where we were eating..Needless to say we covered up our food and took it to go..Also must have been a different chef because there was hardly any seasoning..3rd and last time today I picked up 4 meals to go..everything from pork chops to steak and chicken breast one plain and other breaded. The presentation was spot on but unfortunately their was absolutely no taste in the food..I mean nothing....Not even salt n pepper.Bill was around 74.00 for a family of four...Its hard to find a legit Authentic Spanish restaurant in the area..But we will continue to search..
Someone had warned me that the food wasn't great. Because she is Cuban, I thought, "Well maybe her standards are really high." No, the food was just bad. They literally had burnt scrapings in my sandwich. I could have cooked it myself and still wouldn't have been impressed. The people weren't particularly nice either, but that's another thing entirely. Maybe it was all a fluke, but I'm not inclined to give the restaurant another try.
Worst customer service EVER... The young lady that took my order GOT MY ORDER WRONG and insisted on arguing with me instead of correcting my order, and charged me extra for the food they left off my plate that I ALREADY PAID FOR... absolutely ridiculous... definitely disappointed IN the way they handle their confusion and the way the employee took out her frustration out on me! NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER OR EAT HERE! do not recommend.
Wow! My husband and I split a plate for lunch. More than enough food for the two of us. We got lechon, yellow rice, red beans, tostones, and maduros. The meat was tender and juicy, but somehow crispy and caramelized. So much flavor! The tostones and maduros couldn't have been better either. We ate with two others who had the grilled grouper plate and a fried grouper cubano. They had nothing but wonderful things to say about their meals.Prices are good. Portions are great. We are very happy we stopped!
Best Cuban food I’ve ever had! Our family is visiting from out of state and we stopped here for lunch before heading home. The food was AMAZING!!!! This is hands down the best food we’ve had during our entire trip. 10/10!
This place is god sent, from the staff to the upper management. They are attentive, kind, polite and respectful. Most importantly the HERITAGE, thank you guys for feeding me like my predecessors have/do,plus the ASTHETIC of this place.. represents Cuba in such a romantic way,if you're looking for a family friendly cultural environment with some flavorful and vibrant food, you have come to the right place.thank you to the chefs, the owners and the staff that assists this place to run fluidly and CONSITENTLY.5 out of 5 STARS, would certainly recommend.Gracias, con much amor.
Anyone who says this place is good has no idea what they’re talking about, I grew up in Miami and Broward and this place doesn’t even compare the food is bland and the people are rude. There’s a good columbian place on st lucie west blv food is good and the people are friendly much more worth my money.
Best Cuban food! And we are from Miami!!The Lechon and Vaca Frito del Pollo are 2 of our favorites!! We highly recommend El Cubanito!!
The food is decent but the big no no is the microwave i saw in the back so that tells u that u get yesterday's food... no REAL restaurant should have a microwave... the ropa vieja only came with beef and onions which is weird because never seen that dish not come with peppers and olives before. Its really just mojo beef. Yellow rice is so-so. Its a decent place but have definitely had some dishes made better
