On our way from Orlando down to Biscayne National Park, this is a wonderful place right off the turnpike!Dawn was there smiling and chatting and sharing and just so lovely to visit with. She and her husband provided a wonderful breakfast and exemplify small business in America. At least what it should be. Really glad we stopped. Reviews really help us find great spots. Cheers!

I hate to give bad reviews to small businesses but I must say I wanted to give even less stars. Upon entering it was very cramped. We were standing around for a few minutes before someone finally yelled at us to sit wherever we would like. After about 5-10 minutes someone finally came over to ask if we would like something to drink. She took our food order and advised us that the kitchen was backed up and it may take a little longer for the food. It was about a 30 minute wait to get our food which seemed like an eternity with our two year old but we definitely tried to wait patiently. When the food finally came out my husband and myself were very disappointed with the flavor. I read a few reviews that said that it was basic and I would use the exact same term. I had eggs benedict and it seemed so flavorless the potatoes were cut in so many different sizes and cooked very unevenly. The pepper shaker we were given completely turned me off. The top was so gross, it looked like someone dipped it in their eggs (years ago) and it crusted over. The waitress was friendly and attentive and that's really the only reason I gave the rating I did or else it would have been lower. This was my first experience and I understand that it was on a very busy Sunday morning but I doubt that I would be returning.

Excellent place to eat great service and food

Fabulous breakfast on a foggy Saturday morning. Very personable staff, tasty sausage gravy, and you will not leave hungry. So glad we stopped in on a whim.

I wasn't going to say something but it has been weighing on me..Earlier this week I as going to the jewelry store to get a chain fixed when I heard, from inside my car, a woman verbally abusing an older woman. I'm assuming the woman yelling was the owner of the restaurant they were standing in front of and the older lady was her employee, considering she yelled continuously that "This is my restaurant".The presumed owner verbally abused her and intimidated her by standing over her and SCREAMING so the whole plaza could hear. I am appalled by the way the employee was treated. It was truly disgusting to see someone belittled and treated that way.

I currently walked into the restaurant trying to support local restaurants and as I request a coffee they didn't have any coffee made. I changed my order and her I want sweet tea instead she gets a gallon a store-bought sweet tea. She charged me me $3.80 and I believe that's the price of the gallon of Migos sweetie that she was serving me. If you're looking to get overcharged and treated like you don't exist I recommend go to this restaurant. Literally as I'm asking for lemon wedges for my sweet tea she tells me she's going to get them she calls another server and tell them to get them for me. I got aggravated and left

This was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long time!!! Pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend!! They had some really yummy looking lunch items as well. Definitely going back.

My wife and I went to Dawn's cafe today. Wanted to like it because it is local. The staff was friendly, service was good. My French Toast and bacon were excellent. My wife ordered steak and eggs. Steak was tough, even with the steak knife. When they sprinkled 10X sugar on my French toast, quite a bit was on her toast rendering it inedible. Disappointing.

The service was great, everything made to order and the food was amazing! Our spread consisted of pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon and hashbrowns and everything was delicious! Definitely taking my family here again!
