If I can give this place a no star I would. Tried this for the first time, we just moved here from south Miami but we are originally from New York. This was awful. The chicken and broccoli lunch platter barely had any sauce nor chicken. The carrots were disgusting texture feeling. And the broccoli tasted like it was cooked in a different sauce, gross. The fried rice didn’t taste anything like fried rice, looked like regular cooked rice. And the egg rolls tasted weird as well, would not try this again. Maybe this is a Floridian thing, but this was not Chinese food like the ones we have in New York
Undelightful is an understatement, the crab dragoon was merely air pockets and the general tso chicken was not very good ethier.. would nit recommend. With a crab rangoon the 2 dinner specails we received with a crab region came to 40 dollars.. biggest waist of money we ever spent in dinner
I'm not an old person but I have been coming here since I was a kid. Unfortunately the ownership has change through the covid years .Pueblo Viejo was another good restaurant that's changed. Both places have been bought out and it's probably by big money eliminating the competition. For example you can go to panda express and get the same food. The food is not good anymore. They both used to be some of the best in town. Families used to own these places, they were good people that knew all their customers. .But now it's a very watered down version of chinese food and mexican food. I have to find new places that were as good as those restaurant's pre-covid . I haven't found any yet.
The service was spot on! I got pork fried rice and pork lo mein and they tasted great. lots of meat on vegetables. Thank you It is very hard to find a good Chinese Restaurant in Florida.
SUCH yummy food, the Singapore Mai Fun and the Chicken with Broccoli are always cooked perfectly, and the customer service is wonderful! Rachael and Mary were so sweet and answered all my questions about the food. The new ownership has been doing so well in my opinion, and I eat here once a week now!
excellent service and food
The food was horrible, tasteless I will never eat there again this is the 2nd time I’ve tried it with the new ownership. The first time I thought maybe it was a fluke because years ago this place was one of the best places around so I gave it another chance and I had to throw all of it in the trash.
First time trying it since the new owners took over!! Was amazing!! Beef lo mein was probably the best I’ve had and the egg rolls were on point. Highly recommend!
In the spirit of A Christmas Story my wife’s favorite Christmas movie we ordered Chinese food on Christmas Day. The order was delivered exactly on time. All the items we requested we exactly as ordered. Now for the star on top of the Christmas tree, the food was fresh and extremely delicious. Top marks to the new owners. It was wonderful experience.
Second time there now. Went last week and then maybe 6 months or so earlier (we stayed away from all restaurants for quite some time). Anyway - there with two different people and both visits everything was quite tasty. I had cashew chicken both times, one guest had General Tso, the other this week had pork with Chinese vegetables. All of us were completely pleased with everything we were served. We eat early so we do the lunch specials. We all loved the pork fried rice, our entrees and the egg rolls (soup could be substituted for egg rolls). The little crispy delightful bowl of goodness to share that comes first with the sweet sauce - oh my, very delish. Our server was different each time but both were attentive, friendly, efficient - we have no complaints. Very happy and looking forward to going more often. The restaurant is older in decor and design but was neat and clean. We're for food over atmosphere so it was neither here nor there to us.
