I got the regular style cheesesteak with gourmet fries. They were both really good (hard to eat while driving ? but there were no tables open) and the cashier was really nice.
Ordered the Philly chicken with cheese fries, and I must say it was perfect. The bread was soft, the chicken tasty, the fries not greasy or hard, & cheese sauce with great taste. Very few places do it right, it seams they got the formula down packed.
I give it a four stars ⭐️ if I get a better attitude from the workers it would have bring it up . And the sandwiches were very dripping with the juices from the meat and sauces. Which made very difficult for consuming. Because the bread was soggy and dipped all over my shirt and it was falling apart. But the taste of the sandwich was so damn good that I could give it a whopping four stars .I understood that it was a very hot day so the girl had no welcoming smile of anything on her face. I also wanted extra peaches for my lemonade and she couldn’t understand what I meant. So she had to ask the guy behind her and he was like just charge a dollar for extra peaches but whatever I don’t care it was very good other than the sandwich being very soggy and gross looking but the taste was great.
What a pleasant surprise to discover a newly opened restaurant in my neighborhood! I had never heard of Charley's before, but was pleasantly surprised that they had cheese steaks made with quality USDA beef, provolone cheese with all the fixings. The Oreo cookies and cream ice milk was delicious! The staff was very friendly. However, my Mother was disappointed that her jalapeno fries was left off the order. We understand that it takes a while for a new restaurant to train everyone so we will come again soon.
I had a bacon cheese steak sandwich. I was extremely disappointed. It had 1 very thin slice of meat 3 paper thin slices of bacon. It tasted dry and old. My husband says they were making them right there. So sad for a new restaurantThe fries were good but prices are too high for a small sandwich.
Fast and friendly service. The restaurant is always clean and the food is great overall. I give them a 10/10
Food wasn’t bad, service was good. But, sitting inside the restaurant for 10 minutes waiting for my food left an awful smell on my clothes, skin and hair. I needed to take a shower to get the smell off of me. Seems that the restaurant should have better ventilation to get rid of these odors. This is something I can’t get past, the smell is nauseating.
Husband and I ordered from here for the first time. The food is fantastic and the management is also excellent! We will be ordering from here more often than my previous steak and cheese place. One difference is that they toast the buns on the grill. Excellent job to the whole team at Gatlin Blvd. PSL!
What a disappointment
I was double charged for my food on the same receipt and check. Shame on me for being in a hurry and not paying attention but the incompetency is what drives the lack of trust. I ordered a large cheese steak, bacon and cheese fries, and a ice tea. My wife brought to my attention that my meal was $37.60 after reviewing our C.C. Statement. The young lady at the counter was distracted, they were busy and had me run my card twice as she said it didn’t take the first time, I thought nothing of it. When I received my food, the fries were cold and the sandwich was thrown together with no regard to presentation. I don’t want to sound like that isn’t a lot of money but to me, it’s all about quality of service and this place is very underwhelming. There are certainly other places to go for a good cheesesteak and I will!
