Hadn't been to Steak 'n Shake in awhile, what happened? Ordering from a kiosk, no servers, and the cooks look miserable. We get our food and it was HORRIBLE. There was a pool of grease and you could ring the patty out. My husband's smelled bad, like dirty feet. No thank you. Tossed the food and left. Super disappointed. We used to love going there. Never again. ?
Awful my order was $23. I got a western bbq cheeseburger combo large size, a chili 5 way, large fry and large soda.When I got home and opened the bag The fry cups were only filled 1/2 full. My Chili was in a hamburger box and was less than half full. About 1 cup of chili for $6 really? Steak & Shake used to be my favorite fast food. But not anymore. I will have to think long and hard about ever stopping again. 100% dissatisfied on my visit today.
Chain restaurant that had gone to limited staffing model. You order via a kiosk near the door. You sit where you want till someone brings out the order. Food has not changed. Prices have! Plenty of parking outside. Easy to see from the road but difficult to navigate to from the road.
Restaurant was clean and well lit. So was bathroom. Food was good but took 17 minutes to get a triple steak combo. I was served my shake within 3 minutes. Needless to say I finished the shake before my food was done.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hubby thinks its lost its personal touch by ordering thru kiosk and no servers. And the Ultimate Banana shake being taken off menu was ultimately disappointing as it was hubbys favorite.
Walked in and was placing my order but realized they didn't give a extra topping menu on the kiosk. Jesse overheard my conversation with my friend and offered to help and went above and beyond expectations and his job to make sure we had a great experience. I really think you guys need to appreciate this worker because there's not many left like him !!!! Great job .
This was a different operating model from other Steak and Shakes we've been in but the staff was very accommodating and our meal was served quickly. Do recommend giving them a try.
The 3 star review is more of their stupid app, not so much this location. I went to use a special coupon only on the app but the app wouldn't show the qr code/barcode for this location to scan nor could I order it through the app. It definitely needs fixing! Fortunately, the (I suppose) Manager applied the coupon a different way so I could use it. Props to the Mgr. Excellent service at this location.
First time back to Steak 'n Shake since COVID but do like the kiosk option for ordering whether you dine in or take out. The staff was very helpful during dinner rush making sure patrons understood the order process
Great food, very clean restaurant. Helpful employees. Great prices.Now with kiosk ordering, the employees were more than willing to help with any issues while ordering. Very nice Steak n Shake location.Definitely recommend this one.
