Very nice place, service was very good and also pricing was good. They had live band playing when we visited on Saturday not sure if that's what they have for every Sat but it was really nice to listen to live music while we were there. Food was very good too. We ordered Grilled Grouper Tacos with fries, and also Fried Grouper Sandwich and both were delicious. For drinks I got Summer Mohito which has strawberry undertone that was very refreshing. We also loved the vibe of a gigantic Tiki Bar the restaurant has very nicely done.

I had my 50th birthday party at Rum River last night. We were supposed to be outside, but of course it was raining right when guests were supposed to arrive. The staff did everything they could to accommodate us and keep us dry. We had a great time. The two managers, our waitresses, and the bartenders were all amazing. Everybody that works there really seems like they enjoy their jobs and they were all very helpful. Thanks for making my night special and we will definitely be back!

A nice simple dive to enjoy a good meal. Service was mostly good. We did have to wait and ask for refills, but not a big deal. Food was good and atmosphere was good as well.

Came for the bottomless fried shrimp they serve on Tuesday nights and definitely wasn't disappointed... food was very good and it's a great atmosphere right on the river. I took a star away because we waited a very long time for the second order of shrimp and the waitress also forgot several things I had asked for. 5 star food, 3 star service, 4 stars overall. Definitely worth a visit

Went there tonight with friends, one of us ordered a Fried grouper sandwich, took forever to get and when it finally arrived it was cold and lousy. I had a Blackberry bubbles drink, it was OK.. They offered us cheesecake as a peace offering I guess after the lousy grouper sandwich, we had to wait forever for that also, then it was still frozen! Took. Forever to get our bill too? Will not be back, tons of other better places.

We arrived before 9:00PM on Saturday, more than one hour before closing. Alcoholic drinks were fine, I ordered iced tea and was told this was the last of it for the evening, there wouldn’t be another glass. Very strange. We ordered French onion soup and the Captain’s platter. Unfortunately the soup and dinner arrived moments apart. The soup was extremely hot yet the dinner was luke warm at best. Dinner consisted of green beans, one small crab cake, four pieces of scallops and a fried flounder fillet. As mentioned, the food wasn’t hot and the flounder was extremely salty. After the soup cooled enough to eat, it was void of flavor, easily the worst onion soup I’ve been served. We all agreed, the meal was very disappointing. We certainly should have sent our dinners back. Maybe they had a bad night but so did we.

As I'm sure you've already suspected a seafood place would be expensive which it is. However the issue I have is the potion size suck. Also they are very much understaffed whiched caused us to have unacceptable wait times.

Fish sandwich was good, service wasn't good. Price for fish sandwich was over priced and got cold chips instead of french fries, but you could pay extra $2 for the french fries which we asked for and they never brought them out with our sandwiches. We will never go back again! Just wished that I could give a lower star rating. The servers one in training never came back to see if we needed our drinks refilled, I had to call her over from 3 tables away to refill my drink!

Food was great, waitress was on point, atmosphere was awesome, music not to loud and not too soft. Drink could have been a lil stronger but that's my personal issue. Lol. Great place will definitely visit again real soon.

Great food, the waitress was friendly and very helpful...We loved the atmosphere, and had a wonderful time. Definitely going back again
