I'm conflicted. Food is good. However we just received the worst service I have ever seen. Every step of the experience was a problem. Having been in food service I tend to be more understanding than the average patron. There is no excuse for the straight undeniable neglect we received. Maybe we will try again in the future, but you can bet if we see that waitress again we will walk right out.
The place doesn't look like much, small building and the parking is small. We got a new waitress, so she was slow. She gave us chips and salsa and the chips were hot and fresh. The salsa was really good. We ordered the volcano for two and we really loved everything in that bowl. We ate it like a soft taco, with the sour cream and guacamole. They don't have an alcohol license, but the have wine and sangria in a little bottle. It was pretty good. It is 25 minutes from our house, but worth the drive. This was our first time in La casa Mexicana, but it won't be the last.
Our initial visit was made after reading the recent mostly positive reviews on their food. They were a bit short staffed, but highly conscious of that. We received our menus and drink orders fairly quickly. The guacamole dip appetizer seemed a bit high at $7.00, but the serving was large with plenty of multicolored chips. The guac ? was delicious and served in an editable bowl. We would definitely ? order it again. We ordered the Carne Asada and the Supreme Fajitas. Both came out hot ? and we'll seasoned. Overall good service. We will be back!
I usually never write reviews. But this place is absolutely phenomenal. I’m completely shocked of how good this place is. Best Mexican restaurant In Florida at and I’ve lived in Florida for 15 years. They cook with pride. Absolutely hidden gem. I hope they stay here forever
Highly recommend this place. Their Carne asada is amazing. One of their best dishes for sure. The taste will blow you away.
It's a cold day and this soup is out of this world!!! Wow! Best I've had in quite some time!
Very disappointed. I ordered 2 meals to go. They only made one, honest mistake right? Nope.. the outrageous rudness of the staff just walking into this crummy place was so overwhelming we didn't even bother to tell them they messed up our order. With that being said the FOOD ITSELF was borderline taco bell style "Mexican food" and that's being kind to taco bell. Take your money elsewhere.
I tried the cheese enchiladas. They were good and the service was friendly. Strawberry shortcake was great. Nice little restaurant. My only complaint is the parking can be a challenge.
Absolutely love eating here. Great food. Friendly staff. I've already been twice and I'm definitely gonna go back.
