A week ago I ordered a Medium pizza, which was very undercooked, each veggie topping was $2 extraThe middle was soupy! I was quite surprised ?In addition they are nickel n diming everything. They charged me $3.00 for extra sauce for the calamari I ordered. $3.00 delivery charge, which they did not mention and I gave the driver $5 more.It's not about the money, per se, but the quality certainly did not warrant my bill as below. Total $37!!! ? I just thought people should know they are being charged for delivery and anything additional...Apparently something is not right after reading other recent reviews. ?
Boy they've changed since covid. The food was excellent we would order there at least once a week. The employees mess up orders, they loose orders and ignore you when you go into the restaurant to pick up an order. The last two times we ordered the linguine with white clam sauce, the amount of clams was ridiculous, very small amount with lots and lots of garlic. The lasagna had been enough to feed two people at home and now, the size is not large enough and very, very salty. We went back a second time because it was such a great place and keep hoping it will return. Lots and lots of these same comments on NextDoor which is local. Sorry, I loved your food and it's not worth it now.
While we have been coming to this Joeys restaurant for many years the food has up to now been very good, past two times have not been at all good.After today we will not be returningWe ordered a sausage and mushroom StromboliThe mushrooms were raw and the center was cold and cheese not melted, but yet the underside of the crust was black.The waitress was very nice but the chef doing the cooking has a lot of work to do to make the food enjoyable and cooked right. And look presentable
I have never experienced a more unprofessional and awful experience. I have been ordering and eating in here for many years. I spent $51 on delivery of three pizzas. They were soggy and had the wrong toppings also completely tilted so the cheese and all toppings slid off during delivery. I call and they offer to redo them and deliver in 30 minutes. Over an hour later they arrive once again made incorrectly. Call and talk directly to Joey. What a waste of time that was.
The appetizer was delicious, we where told the cooler wasn't working well. I had a bottle beer with glass ice. My friend drank a bottle beer and said it was fine. Our waitress was excellent. %old clean atmosphere.
Here with friends today for late lunch early dinner. I had eggplant rolatini.. delicious as usual. Food here is always delicious and very reasonable. Looking for great Italian, this is the place. Our server Heather was delightful and very efficient thru out our meal.
Our family goes out of it ways from Spring Hill to drive all the way down to Joey's for pizza. It's the absolute best pizza and pasta dishes we've found in the area. Service is great, too. Wish they'd open one up in Hernando county because it would be a hit with all the New York/New Jersey transplants (like us) looking for the most authentic pizza from back where we grew up. :)
Waiting over an hour to be seated is one thing. Waiting over an hour for a sub and a salad is too long. They were busy but there appeared to be plenty of staff in the kitchen. I'd like to say the food was good but eating a salad while in a moving vehicle heading to the airport after over 2 hours of waiting kind of ruined it.
I wish I had a picture of the before thought about giving a review after we ate the whole thing ? Red velvet cheese cake. THE BEST. And the pizza, best we've had since moving here. Great quality ingredients.
Ordered 32 dollars worth of food from here today for business the salad came with no dressing and also not the way we wanted. chicken wings we order crispy wings not burnt. called to let them know I was told sorry I'm not the owner and next time we can have them bring you dressing bad service today and normally always ok and for her to just say sorry I'm not the owner or ill let the cook know wow how about coming to get this nasty food today i spent 32 dollars on and bring us better food.
