Please check your food before you drive off. The owner likes to cheap his way into not giving you your entire food items. This has happened multiple times when ordering entree’s or any meal that comes with extra items and the owner likes to tighten your bag tight before you drive off so you can’t check right away. When confronted about it the owner laughs and actually gives you what you ordered right the second time.
I've been coming here for the last few months pretty regularly with my boyfriend and they never fail in making it the best experience it could be. They are sometimes short on the phone or in the drive thru but they're always polite, and they always get our orders right! They have fast service even when it's busy, HUGE servings every time & for a price you can't beat.Me & my partner are both vegan so we always go with a large vegetable fried rice, vegetable lo mein and french fries. There's always a good variety and amount of vegetables, and the FLAVOR. Especially the vegetable fried rice - it always tastes fresh, and the flavor is very subtle and never overpowering.I can't speak to other dishes they serve, but with the vegetable fried rice, if you're someone who is used to very salty or flavored food you may find it bland - but for me, I love to taste the food itself, not artificial flavors covering up what could be poorly made food for all I know. I never have a stomach ache after eating here either which is nothing short of a miracle.I'm always recommending them to anyone who asks, they deserve booming business. Green Tea Chinese is a true hidden gem!
The food was actually really really good. Except my order was wrong but what they gave me was good so I ate that. The egg rolls were amazing. Done just perfect. A Lil wait in the drive thru but for hot food was worth it
Always delicious. They prefer cash because of the credit card fees but I've never had a problem paying with my card. The drive through is super convenient. The food is always hot and fresh.
I called in my order. The guy just kept saying "anything else?" Then said "ok thank you" and hung up... No name, phone number, repeat to make sure he got my order correct, no price or estimate of pick up time. We got a completely wrong order... He even argued that I didn't order an egg drop soup when I definitely did. He told us to keep the food and get a $5 credit next time... Umm no, we're missing 90% of our order, our kids are hungry and $5 doesn't even begin to cover our $50+ total! He said he would remake us a mixed vegetable entree when that wasn't part of our order!My husband had to go back to the restaurant, come back home because they DEMANDED we RETURN the food we had already opened, or else they wouldn't give us our correct order. Then they STILL wanted to argue and only give us 1 out of the 4 entrees we were missing!WILL NEVER RETURN!!!
Have loved their food & restaurant for 10+ years now. Great value & hardworking ppl. Always a very long wait in the drive thru but I've accepted that & cuisine makes it worth the extra time.
Every time I get the lunch special, I always get the same thing and my price is always different. Most of the time my chicken is hard and I’m just over this place. Anyone know where i can find good Chinese food??
I’ve came about 5 times since I’ve moved to the port richey area . I’ve gotten attitude because I didn’t leave a tip on a drive thru order . The NEXT time I came through the drive thru I ordered food for my family and found MULTIPLE pieces of hair . Not one or two which gives the impression that it was intentional. Yes the deals are good , but I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Green Tea Restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant , You will ever go to. The food is delicious . We been going there 20 years. It's surprising ,many other people I know go to eat at the place allso. You will love it. Promise.
I like the owner would have gave them five stars for my area before covid. Like many he's trying to survive. Now only drive-thru even if you order online so the guy in front of you with motor off waiting order you got to wait and yours is cold time you get what should be crispies mushy used to order Szechuan shrimp too many shrimp to count now you got to hunt for them again covid related inflation but if he just open the front door for online order carryout I believe it could save his business.
