Tasteless food, abrupt server. I had heard Argento's was good, and eagerly visited there while in town for a project. My server was clearly rushed and may have been annoyed that I was there alone. My shrimp scampi was horrible. No tastes, gelatinous sauce....I just couldn't eat more than few bites. Blecch.

I was never so disappointed in a restaurant recommended by friends - except for our delightful server, GIL. The food was completely TASTELESS. And how can bread be served dry and stale at 1:00 on a Friday afternoon??? My friend had the veal parm and said it was ok. He offered no details. I did not want to make a fuss at the time but cannot imagine ever going back there. Even the cannoli dessert disappointed with an over-baked shell and overly sweet filling. No way will I recommend this place to anyone.
Recommended by several friends so we decided to try on a Wednesday night. No reservation and arrived around 5:30. Was told by hostess it would be a 15-20 minute wait which we were fine with. We were called to our table maybe 10 minutes later. Prices...super reasonable...a bottle of wine $19! We had clams as an appetizer...you want to bottle the sauce. Speaking of, very lightly dusted garlic knots (more like miniature rolls) are the bread service served with butter and their red sauce which should be marketed and sold. Now...my husband and I are self proclaimed Italian food snobs having come from Long Island and Brooklyn, respectively. Our server was Ellen and she refused to take away our 2 remaining clams from the table until we ate them...she was great! Salad and pasta fazul were both on point. I had baked ziti with a side of meatballs and I have enough for potentially 2 more meals...it was all delicious. Hubby had the Zuppa de pesce in medium fra diavlo sauce and he was thrilled with it. That has the option of mild, medium, or spicy OR a white wine sauce. Then we get our check...$79 for the entire meal before the tip and we left a very generous tip. We couldn't leave without taking some pastries to go. Bottom line...we will for sure be returning customers.
Nice environment.The food is really good!Carbonara pasta is AMAZING. Chicken saltimboca is good. Stuffed mushroom is also amazing. Bread is ok. Sangria and margarita ok.Desserts to go, raspberry with no chocolate is delicious! Chocolate with cheesecake was good.Very nice place to come back.
If your from NYC This is the closest.place to great Italian food around staff always friendly and never had to wait to long even when crowed on a holiday. The bakery is very good and never had a bad meal. And drinks the best bartenders they know there. Most restaurant bartenders are not the best .
Wonderful anniversary dinner with family. Appetizers: bruschetta, mussels and stuffed mushrooms. All excellent. Main courses were just as good. Had enough leftovers for a meal at home. Will definitely go again.
Great selection of desserts. This place is always busy I recommend calling ahead or be ready to wait quite a bit if you go during dining hours. The food was great, I wasn’t a big fan of the pizza but the spaghetti was good.
We really enjoyed our meal, drinks, service, and take home desserts (too full to eat dessert at the restaurant). The food menu is excellent, with such a variety of offerings. Portions are large & tasty. Great beer & wine lists too, and of course, the 3 cases of pastries in the front entry are to die for, as other guests have mentioned. We’d highly recommend this restaurant and hope to return again if we’re ever in the area!
First time and the food and service were excellent! The menu is a little bit on the pricey side for us but portions were ample. We are definately planning a trip back to try other menu items and dessert. The bakery is incredible!
I had the shrimp Diablo and my wife had Lasagna we both enjoyed our meals. Their portions were very large. We brought half of it home and had it the next day. Make sure you pick up some desert on the way out we had carrot cake cheesecake out standing. We will definitely be back. Great service too!
