Ordered a beef chimichanga via Grubhub and it arrived so hot and fresh, I was impressed. I didn't like that it didn't come with either sour cream or queso like I expected and I would probably have known this if I was a regular but I missed having those (would've ordered a side items if I'd know). However, it was pretty good all the same. Emphasis on obviously very fresh and authentic. I would definitely eat here again.
Very good service. We ordered the carnitas plate, and fish tacos plate. Very well cooked and seasoned. The refried beans can use a little more consistency. The orchata was also good.
220705 First visit and it definitely won't be the last. The food here is great and very authentic...don't get it confused with Tex-Mex because you won't find that here. This would have been a 5-star rating but for a few minor issues.The first issue was i requested no green peppers in the order of Fajitas Mix and was assured during the telephone order for pick-up that would not be an issue. When I arrived home and opened the box of fajitas there were green peppers amongst the other peppers but easily removable. The fajitas included 5 large shrimp along with beef and chicken that made enough for 6 stuffed tortillas even though only 3 come with an order, luckily I had ordered a side order of 3 additional tortillas. Great flavor and meat cooked to perfection.The second issue was the order of Tacos Dorados, which is a great deal...4 tacos of your choice from beef, pork or chicken for $8.99...we chose 2 beef, 1 pork and 1 chicken...were not differentiated in any manner in the box, with only the chicken taco being noticeably different. However, that being said, the tacos were packed with meat & cheese and absolutely DELICIOUS and the freshly made fried shells were not greasy.The third very minor issue is simply a matter of taste, I just wish the Ceviche Tostada had a bit more flavor, as it was lacking that kick of sour, but it was a tasty dish nonetheless.We also ordered the Plata de Carnitas which was again flavorful and delicious, even the rice and refried beans are tasty which is sometimes a bland experience.I don't believe you can go wrong with any dish at Taqueria Juanita, especially for the prices. This is now my go to for authentic Mexican food, especially since it is less than a mile away and prices are extremely reasonable.

Fantastic chicken taco salad. Everything was fresh and seasoned perfectly. Avacado was amazing, chicken was shredded and cooked perfectly. Wife got the fish tacos. She enjoyed them and shared one with me. I did not care for it at all. Too fishy for me. Mexican rice water was good. Iced tea on the strong side. Clean and friendly. We will definitely be back.
Second time here and I was just as impressed with the first. I happened to find this place once a year and some change ago and always wondered where it was. Got lucky when a friend invited me to lunch and I recognized it instantly. The food is authentic, the staff is very friendly and the prices are very reasonable. They are alway pretty busy so you know it's not for no reason! The chips are homemade and the chorizo is ridiculous! Please give this place a try if you want a good taco, made with care and tradition!
By far the best true taqueria around. We have been coming here since they opened . If you want that authentic flavor that you can’t get anywhere else than this is your place. The Al pastor is amazing and we can’t get enough of the tostadas.
well the girl who took my order well not very welcoming. like I was wasting her time. I order the burrito no beans no sour cream. taco salad avocado on side and sour cream on side. Got home opened my burrito no rice 3 little pieces of avocado that was brown and burnt meat that had no flavor what so ever. taco salad was fine meat no flavor but other wise ok. but $10.00 for a burrito was so not worth it. but I tried it i don't want my money back the mine away and will not be going back there. wanted to try to see.
Homemade chips and queso AMAZING! Everything I ordered was so good I came back and ordered lunch to take to a friend the next day. Fast friendly service. My new favorite. Can't wait for taco Tuesday $1.25 and choice of meat.
Got the fish tacos ? I truly believe they went across the street to Walmart neighborhood market picked up a box of fish ? sticks cooked them and threw them in the shell. Rice ? and beans just average. Will I come back again that would be a big fat no.
