This place was great! I thought the food bar & unlimited cinnamon rolls were awesome. I ordered the coconut shrimp dinner and it was pretty good. The one hush puppy that’s included was the best part. My boyfriend got the shark for dinner and he didn’t like it at all, I tasted it as well and it was pretty weird and extremely chewy.. We would not recommend that.Overall it was not my favorite food place around this side of town, but it was worth a try.

Came with a large group with pre arranged menu and reservations. "Cousin Cassidy" handled our group of 17 with poise and grace. Met every request with a smile and speedy follow thru. Food was Florida home cooking and delicious. Unlimited homemade cinnamon rolls are delicious. Come hungry.

Not impressed anymore. Very sad they got rid of their wonderful salad bar. Got less food in my meal, food quality was not as good either... for way more money. Not worth going here anymore next time I go to the beach will go to another restaurant. Used to love this place for my birthday every year, after 10 yrs.. NO MORE.

Best catfish I ever tasted. We got there on a Monday evening, thinking the crowd might be small. WRONG! We were told it was a one-hour wait. So we spent some time on the dock, enjoying the River breeze. Fortunately, wait was only about 35 minutes but it was worth the wait. They extend the early bird menu to seniors over 60 so that was a nice touch. Along with my catfish, I got a hush puppy and a side of delicious fresh green beans. Ut the highlight was the Camp Fish Fixins.” This includes AYCE Cole slaw, potato salad, cheese grits, baked beans, pickled beets, cornbread, broccoli salad, stewed cinnamon apples, and frosted cinnamon rolls. Southern cooking at its best. If you service was prompt and attentive.

We live in Orlando and come several Times a year to Ormond/Daytona Beach Shores area for beach time. We always do Aumt Catfish On the River. With COVID THEY quit The incredible salad bar which anyone I knew who know about Aumt Catfish always commented on the salad bar. Reason to go there. Shrimp are really good but alot of places have shrimp, But no one had a salad bar like theirs and it was included with entrees. Was hoping they would Bring back but does not look like it. There were 4 of us there tonight and they no longer have baked potatoes. We all wanted baked potatoes. Stopped them 5 months ago. Disappointing. It was not busy like it ALWAYS has been. We were there early and usually packed. Again their shrimp are the best and we will go back but the excitement of eating there is just not there. Note: They make cinnamon rolls which are good and u can eat as many as u want with your meal. Always my dessert.

With how popular this place is, we had to check it out! My friends and I were really excited to try good seafood. This place did not disappoint! We had excellent, fresh catfish and shrimp. It was beautifully grilled and seasoned. It came with a sweet baked potato and one of the best hushpuppies you’ll ever have! The best part is their fixins bar. This self serf area provides you unlimited sides like baked beans, cornbread, potato salad, baked cinnamon apples, broccoli salad, pickled beets, grits, and more! Finally, they have an area dedicated to making fresh cinnamon rolls. This again is included and as much as you want. Let me tell you, this is insane. Easily the best part of the whole place! These are so soft and fresh, and you can watch staff make them and apply icing right in front of your eyes!Only downside of this whole place is that we sat outside when it was extremely windy, and we were also near the kids’ playground which was a little noisy!

I had the broiled seafood platter which was very tasty and sufficiently plentiful for me take some it home. The former large soup and salad bar has been replaced by a small soup and salad bar and a pastry bakery. The service staff was fast, friendly and helpful. I arrived early so I was quickly seated, but the wait time had increased to 30 to 45 minutes when I left. I set inside, but outside tables are also available.

Our server was amazing. I have celiac and she helped me with my choices. We sat outside and listened to beautiful steel drum music. We shared a dinner of scallops and the fixings. Everything was so nice.

Visited for early dinner for our party of four, for the first time since the pandemic. The place was busy, but we were seated inside within 15 minutes. Our server, male called Dxxx was very pushy throughout and confused good service with wanting us fed and gone as soon as possible. Demanded our orders before we had time to look at the menu. We told him to give us a couple of minutes, but he was back again almost instantly. The food was excellent, and kudos to the kitchen. The bill was rapidly presented. $9 FOR A GLASS OF HOUSE WINE ! WOW..... maybe that is why we were rushed into instantly ordering drinks. Payment is taken at the table, with Dxxx using a tablet. He rushed off, and had to be recalled as we wanted a receipt for our payment. The $9 house wine..... was it really that price or did our server cunningly switch us to an upcharged variety ? Either way, after excellent food the bill left a sour taste.

Waitress, Brooke, very friendly and down to earth. Despite being busy, food was great, service great, and food came in timely fashion. I had catfish with crushed pecan coating, my wife had the river burger. Cinnamon rolls were awesome.
