Went to see damon wyans 600 show. Really funny. Service not enough wait staff. By the time i got all my food at the same time it was cold. Waiter Alex didnt care. He was getting tip. When something isnt right you would think they try to right you. They dont!! Food very good!!
Owner Eric Andreas and his girlfriend Kelly who owns Fusion Studios treat their businesses under dictatorship. The amount of mental stress this place has imposed on many of their employees is downright abusive. Eric fired me for not doing someone else’s job when I’ve never had and record of insubordination while working for them for the last 8 months. And I never got my final paycheck today. So I’m letting everyone know. THOSE LOOKING FOR EMPLOYMENT BEWARE! THERE IS A REASON THIS PLACE HAS HIGH TURNOVER. Also the burrata comes out of plastic package from the distributor as well as the frozen brownies and other items that they claim to be “homemade”. And there are racks of meat and pasta that sit out in the hot kitchen all day from 2p to 9p. Everyday. And YES there is a microwave in the kitchen that is used quite frequently. Don’t believe then when they say “scratch kitchen” and “no reactors back there”. They straight lying to you all. I am the Alex mentioned in so many of these positive reviews. I truly believe this was a retaliation for me getting a second job because I was getting called off everyday as business has been extremely slowed. I will say I did enjoy taking care of the wonderful people of Port Charlotte and surrounding areas.
Absolutely love this place!! The shows are always fantastic… but let’s talk about the food!! So delicious, scratch made! I have yet to have anything there and not be blown away! Always a treat to visit!
Depending on what comic is playing check their listing. Go there for the commonly the food while being average and pricey can be quickly forgotten with a good laugh from a good comedian.
Perfect date night the service was great the food was amazing perfect atmosphere ? we have already booked our next visit.
Went to see Beegees and CSNY and the vocals were amazing. Such a great band can’t wait to come back and see them. Food was outstanding, Lauren was our bartender and was awesome. Best restaurant and best entertainment in town! Highly recommend!
Went to see Steve white, phenomenal comedians 10/10 show. Food was delicious service was amazing Lauren was our bartender and server she was amazing. Try the salmon or the steak, can’t get enough. Highly recommend this establishment.
We always have a great meal and a great time at Visani’s! The atmosphere is classy and fun! The food is top notch and the comedien’s do what they came to do—make us laugh! We came three times in four months this season…we always enjoy!!
We were seated at the bar. Jackie our server was friendly, fast, attentive. Food was mediocre at best. We started w/ shrimp cocktail - small shrimp but fresh with tasty cocktail sauce. From there it went downhill fast. We both upgraded to bacon wrapped sirloin medallions w/ gorgonzola sauce, mashed potatoes, asparagus entree. Ordered the steak medium (our usual order as we can eat it medium or medium rare). It arrived as one large, thick, RARE steak - not medallions. We sent it back. Replacements came back after a while. Steak came back as medium rare (acceptable) with bacon wrapping mostly uncooked, cold lumpy mashed potatoes, cold lumpy gorgonzola sauce and cooked to death asparagus. My steak as heavy on gristle & fat (suspect it was a set aside reject). We did manage to eat some of our entrees but boxed at least half plus of it for our dogs. Dessert was a dry, hard cannoli drizzled w/ chocolate syrup. Taste okay but you couldn't cut it with a fork. I ate half of mine; wife had one small bite of hers. The entertainment was a lttlle uneven - Rolling Stones tribute band mediocre; CCR tribute band terrific. All in all a disappointing evening.
We visited from out of town to have dinner and enjoy a comedy show! What a great time we had!! Service was great!. The food was wonderful and the show was entertaining and very funny!! Loved it! Great ambiance and overall atmosphere.
