Thought the place was closed. Only one other car arrived when we went in. This was at noon. Ordering via a kiosk now is most confusing. No more wait staff. I think the kiosk turns people away. This is an area with mostly seniors. There was a kind person behind the counter who came over to assist us. Will probably never return, although we weren't exactly regular customers.
If I could do zero stars I would! What a disgrace to the steak and shake name! So disgusting here. Dirty floors, tables, drink dispenser, and bathroom. Food was nasty and fries over salted and cold. Not one employee came out to wipe down tables or clear garbage. Mold on the ice dispenser. I can’t believe the health department hasn’t shut this place down yet. Don’t go here!!!!!!!!
Best part of the meal was the milkshake.My Frisco melt was soggy and flavorless.My partners burger was missing the onion and pickles we requested.For 17 dollars we won't be back.
Awesome place! They were short staffed when we got there, but they were honest right up front and told us so! Love that! Plus their food is outstanding! Very tasty! We'll be back for sure!
I use to love going here and now it’s not the same anymore the food taste old , there’s not a lot of people, the tables are not clean and u have to order on a device . I wish it was the same like old times when they’re was people happy and waiters to serve us ;(
Waited at the ordered speaker for 10mins when they took my order they had to ask me twice for my order again, when I got to the window the girl was saying how sorry she was that they were busy, no one was in line in front of me and no one in the dine in. I received my order and I was missing a fry plus the one I did have was cold. When I told them the lady rolled her eyes at me and said I had to wait 2-3mins the manager was screaming how customers treat them like they are garage because they work at fast food. Than said “oh well if we weren’t here they would starve” great customer service port Charlotte
Dining room floor and tables were dirty with food all over on them. Passed by 5 booths to find a clean one. They got our order wrong and when I went up to get it taken care of the staff wouldn't even acknowledge I was even there. Very bad customer service. The burger was sub-par and the fries were cold with no salt. This is my first time at a steak n shake and it will also be my last.
The nastiest bathroom ever! No servers everything is self done. The cook has a cast on and looks dirty. All of the tables are dirty and you wipe the tables yourself. Definitely will never come back.
The food was room temperature, I didn’t even get all of my order, and the lady that was giving out food was very rude. I asked her a simple question and her tone was very rude. I did not like her customer service. Everyone else was nice. Would not recommended this steak ‘n shake.
I was so excited to go and finally dine in with my kids because it's been a long time since we've dined inside! I go to order at a kiosk that states they accept cash and then it doesn't accept cash, place is dirty, tables are gross, self serve condiments are sticky, sodas aren't all filled accordingly, bathrooms were overflowing with trash, & it seems empty inside to begin with. 3 workers here with no hospitality! I ordered a burger, a couple shakes (that were missing cherries), a soda & fries. The large fries were so overly coated with salt my kids couldn't even enjoy them with ketchup! I go to return them to the woman who seems like the manager that was dumping out trash & tell her my concern, she proceeds to dump my same fries into another basket & give them to me mixed with the ketchup I put on them originally. I'm standing there dumbfounded! I call a young gentleman who is working there & tell him what just happened he claims, "yeah those don't have salt on them" I stated "since when do you guys give customers fries with ketchup mixed into them? These are my same fries!" He takes them back & I hear the lady say, "don't put salt on THOSE fries because they're not going to come back again!" I'm sorry that I didn't want to eat straight salt for dinner but it was just rude the manner or lack thereof as to how everything was handled. That's why I'm giving this location 1 star, I'd give it negative if I could!-___-
