Best hamburgers in the Port Charlotte / Northport region. Absolutely delicious!! Friendly service and good prices. Ignore any bad reviews below, totally unwarranted. This place rocks and a salute to the Military!! 5/5 stars all the way. Mom and Pops are ALWAYS the best for homemade food quality and taste, not overpriced bland corporate chains. Parking can be tight. We will return soon.

I had heard nothing but good reviews about this sub shop. I ordered a chicken salad sub that was very good. I was surprised to order a vegetarian sub and be charged the same as a sub with meat. Maybe next time I’ll order an Italian sub and have them put the meat and cheese on the side. I ordered a Philly cheese steak that was so greasy that it was just dripping from the end of the sub while I was eating it. Also, don’t really care for places that charge me a fee for using my credit card. Over $30 for 3 subs. Remember, one was just a salad on a bun. All in all, I was a little disappointed and probably won’t be back.
The food is delicious although the last couple times we've gotten the pepper steaks there's been hardly any peppers at all and the last time there was so few we ended up going back to the store and they didn't even remake the sandwiches they just cooked up peppers and threw them on top and gave us a $5 off coupon.
I use to go there when my mom was discharged from the hospital. She would say can we go to Sam's for subs? I always enjoyed the atmosphere and the smile it use to bring to her face. Mom since past 5 years ago so when passing there on her anniversary I said I'm going to stop. Same great place, food still the best the staff funny and polite and what fond memories I had sitting there remembering Mom and what a special trip that was for the both of us.
This is one of the best places in port charlotte to grab some really delicious food from and family owned. They have amazing cheeseburgers,subs,salads and a kids menu that is all well worth your money all cooked to order and how you want it cooked and with what you like on it. And finish it off with some amazing deep fried cheesecake. Yummy me and my family approve and eat here quite often. Thank you guys you are good at what you do and i will always be back for more.

BEAUTIFUL people with EXCELLENT food and service. I don't eat leftovers or cold food but today I ate the other half of my sandwich cold. It still was the?. And that sub roll I could have eaten without anything on it! I can't wait to come back and eat again!?❤
