I'm from MA and was desperately missing my seafood. I found RJ's and have been happy and well fed since! I always get the fried clams, but my luncheon friends have ordered all sorts of fish and seafood entrees and loved their choices.

Amazing!!!! Small friendly great staff!!! Owner is amazing too... my husband is from New England and is never happy with any full clam Billy's or clam cakes ever down here, he inhaled rjs.... I don't do clam chowder or clam period and oh my gosh this place made me change my mind. The coleslaw is phenomenal the fries are fresh hand cut... just amazing we will be back most definitely!!!!

Excellent service, prices are as what you’d like for seafood. Lobster roll was ok, kinda small and a little dry, bla. The clam chowder was very good. I will come back and try the belly clams!

Food was amazing... Poboy, whole belly clams, clam cakes... And a coffee milk :)

The food was delicious. Let me say before you read my review. It was not their fault they had only one cook trying to keep up with all the cooking from what the waitresses were saying. They can't find any cooks . So if you want a job they desperately need cooks . We went in around 6:30 . But we will not go on fri any where around that time again . They were slammed not only with the indoor restaurant seating but the call in orders were outrageous so so many of them and all waiting at least 1and a half hours to get them . As well as the indoor restaurant guests. But everyone was waiting and not complaining the food is that good. I believe right now that they have no help in The kitchen it's best to order to go. Excellent food . Great prices. Still go at lunch time and on other days maybe earlier. And you that want a job cooking I'm sure they will hire you even if they have to train you . They need, need help. Get on in there.

A friend told me about this place when they opened - first time able to try was tonight. Fabulous light breading, great Ipswich clams (bellies!!) and hand cut fries. Being from Boston - I needed this place!! Quaint table area & nice musician singing. The staff are very friendly. This is my go to place when I get homesick..

I am not a seafood eater but my husband considers himself a connoisseur of whole belly clams from growing up in CT. He is picky about the source, freshness, the breading and how they are cooked. He thought the ones at RJ's were very good which isn't always the case about clams in FL. He even mentioned his satisfaction to the kitchen. The couple next to us had the Rhode Island clam chowder and thought it was great. I had the spinach stromboli which was not served piping hot to my dismay. The desserts are homemade. Hubby had the strawberry cake with fresh strawberries in it topped with whipped cream. We will stop again the next time we are in the area.

Finally decided to try them after living here for over 3 years, and it will be way more than 3 years before I go back. Food was overpriced for what you received and just ok. Lobster bisque had little to no meat in it and was very peppery. Person at takeout was somewhat rude. Extra charge for using cc.

We are from Rhode Island. So we had to try the clam cakes and chowder. They where both outstanding. Even better than most in New England restaurants. We will be back to try the Fishermen's platter.

Food is great. Five Star there. Always has been. But no one wants to hear a female OWNER in the kitchen slamming items around, and also yelling and hollering. Then to hear a waitress say “ its been a crazy day here today, just ignore it. “ Clearly to defuse the nonsense that everyone eating was hearing. I was waiting for my order to go - it wasnt pleasant.Everyone lifted their heads up from eating. You want to make the customer happy, then control your temper and/or get anger management. Your energy radiated into the dining room. Someone who personally suffers with PTSD, it was a major shake up for my own nerves.Whether it was a spouse being yelled at, coworker, or owner - be a better human when you are upset.Walk away.Breathe.Come back.I didnt believe the negative comments I recently read after coming here for 6 years, but today, I did believe it.Everyone has bad days. But being a business owner - things go wrong. People make mistakes. Be better , do better. This will be my last trip here. Great food tho!
