Their pizza and strombolis are excellent, and I usually have leftovers to take home!!
The staff is very friendly the food is amazing with vegan choices ! Food comes out super fast and I’ve never had a bad experience

This was a happy surprise - some friends recommended this place for a beer and live music; sadly, the musician got sick and couldn't hang. Even so, there was a lively crowd with quality drinks and service. And then we saw the pizza! The couple behind us had this big pie with an amazing balsamic drizzle on it and we must've been staring because they offered us some! We politely passed on their kindness but instead ordered one of our own. We added sausage to ours and it was AMAZING. We haven't really had a go-to pizza place, but we do now!
Fifteen friends went last night. All couples, bar one, so it was a difficult order for our server. She was brilliant. Handled everyone efficiently and cheerfully. The food was outstanding. Everything came out together and hot, fresh and tasty. Kudos to the manager here. Great staff, superb food and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
We have been ordering and going here since it opened 7 years ago and the food and service have always been good.Today we ordered take out, although the order was accurate, the girl put the wrong name to the order and she could not figure out how to split the order (this has been done before) The parking has become atrocious and I had to park in Ollie's almost a block away. When all is said and done my pizza was not that good, it was doughy (undercooked) and the antipasto was not as good as it once was.I think I will be looking for another restaurant until they can get things straightened out.
I stopped here for a late lunch and sat in the rear patio area. My server, Erica, was right there and took my order. I ordered a side salad and personal 12" Formiaggio White Pizza with a couple of drinks. The drinks were right there the salad followed right up after that. Once the pizza arrived, I started to destroy it but couldn't finish it so I had 2 slices to go. Salad was fresh, the pizza was delicious and the drinks hit the spot. A band was setting up on the back patio but I departed before they started. The place was starting to fill up quickly. Erica did a great job and was running around being busy. Prices not dad, clean inside and good sized portions.
I grew up in Stratford Connecticut , just 10 miles away from New Haven , the best pizza in the world , and Pioneer Pizza is no joke , they have a great pie here , I've been here in Sarasota for 33 years and this is some of the best pizza around , well worth the drive
Went to have a quick lunch. Boy was it good and fast. Two of us ordered Cheese and Pepperoni, I added black olives to mine. Lunch special was two slices NY style. They were huge, could only ate one. Pleasant surprise.
My husband and I ate inside for a late lunch. The photo shows my one slice ($4 which included 2 toppings) compared to his 12 inch. Next time I would not order the sausage and mushrooms ...not the usual taste I am use to. Loved their clam chowder.
