This recent visit was not my best experience, but it's Olive Garden, you know what you're getting. The wait times are estimated high but we didn't wait more than 3 minutes at 7pm. The waitress was definitely new to the restaurant business but she did just fine.
Normal as all other franchises. Food came hot, server was friendly, fettuccini is good, carbonara pasta was ok…Sangria was ok. They didn’t have the wine I ordered, but I choose other… overall a nice place to eat something that you already know the flavor.
Food is good, staff was friendly. All in all, no complaints. Been here a couple times already and haven't had any problems!
During season your going to wait for a table. I have to say though. Every time we go no matter how busy. Service is always good. Food is always good. Not to forget good wine also. It's worth the wait.
I enjoy the service and the food there. But the carpet stinks so bad. I have seen several remarks about the stinky carpet on facebook. I am surprised that they didn't have it pro. cleaned during shut down, or have it replaced. The smell hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. Manager has to be able to smell it everyday??
Waited 15 minutes to be seated. Waited another 15 minutes for a waiter or waitress to take our drink order. No one approached us as we left. Went to Longhorn Steakhouse and had an excellent meal and outstanding service.
So I am a big fan of Olive Garden, I travel all over the United States and frequent this chain quite often. The restaurant in Port Charlotte is excellent… i’ve eaten there plus dine out. Food was great, portions were big, everything was tasty and the waiter and waitress were excellent. Just a great overall experience thank you
The menu absolutely sucks now. Won't waste my money at Olive Garden anymore. Only good thing is the breadsticks and salad. Smh
Use to be my go to for Italian Food and of course their salad. Not anymore. The last 3 or 4 times we went there the food was worse and worse. Last night I got more annoyed as they made us wait about 20-25 minutes in the front for a table . The problem was once we finally got seated there was probably about 15-20 open tables just in our section. Also once we sat down, they immediately sat a family of 6 with 4 youngsters next to us. Maybe they thought next to us was the best place because it looked so empty by us. That didn't work out so well.As far as a shortage of employees, if that's their excuse, they literally had 6 employees by the front door. 4 of them were pretty much not doing anything. Anyways worse experience since I have gone there. On the plus side their salad and soup tasted fabulous.
Went last night with friends. Such a disappointment. Appetizer was served after main course almost consumed. The salad was served minus salad dressing. My chicken parmesan was uncooked inside. And, we noticed no sanitization was done when diners left their tables.
