I tried Key West Subs for the first time today, as I had never had their food before and I had heard good things about them. When I entered the store, the woman working the store was crying about something terrible that had happened. I don't know exactly what was wrong but I do hope for the best.I offered to leave to give her space but she said that would be unnecessary and despite her grief she was able to give me great customer service and food. I gave her a large tip. I had initially planned to eat in but I switched to take out due to her predicament, but she didn't pressure me to do so.Again, I sincerely do hope for the best for her and anyone else affected.
So happy we found this place! Stopped in and had the Hemingway and the pressed barbecue chicken sub. Both were delicious! Tish was working and she was so friendly and let us sample the sauces since we’d never eaten there. Highly recommend!
Excellent service and accommodating with plenty of meat on the sub for a responsible price. We had a Capicola and a Key West sub. They were very good.

I ordered the Hemingway and the Reuben and both were great. I got the Italian for my nephew and it looked like a double meat sub from anywhere else. Ordered two ham and cheese one club and a wrap there was a lot of turkey on the club asked for no tomatoes on the club and there was tomatoes we will give them another go in the future
Omg just found out there’s one in Port Charlotte. I used to go here every time I go to Englewood, but now that I found out it’s 10 min away, I’m going tomorrow! Love love their chicken salad sub…so generous on the meat but what I love the most is the fresh bread! There’s nothing worse than a sandwich with stale or lousy bread, but Not this place…best around!

Stopped in for my first time today as it was suggested by my fiancée who frequents their englewood location and raves about the subs! I had a difficult time deciding between the Cuban, Ruben, or chicken ranch blt, the patient and friendly woman working the store suggested the chicken ranch, and I’m grateful she did. Amazing, flavorful, juicy sandwich, perfect meat to bread/ toppings ratio! I will be returning in the future to try the Cuban and Ruben, and will certainly refer this place to others as my fiancée did for me! Try them! They will not disappoint!
