Small establishment that has no frills authentic Mexican food. Just cause it’s no frills don’t assume that what’s happening in that kitchen is too cause that would be your mistake. The meat is seasoned, tender, and the main event. I recommend the tongue, steak, and shredded pork tacos. The red/orange sauce was good and spicy. The guacamole is chunky and the chips are light crispy and salted to perfection. You can’t go wrong. I’m going back for the burrito.
Very authentic. Great pictures of Mexico. Pulque vendors & old tequila workers etc.Lots of love from Mexico & the Caribbean stapled to the walls, on the money from those countries. Very refreshing.You can actually get excellent tongue and if you're into it, tripe. Everything's made to order on great homemade tortillas. Killer green sauce!Support this business. Not at all like the Tex-Mex fast food stuff

Everything was amazing! Their guacamole is now my favorite it tasted so good! I had the chicken, steak, and campechano tacos. Definitely going to be stopping in regularly now

Best taco/burrito place I've found since moving to the Port Charlotte area. It was too delicious to stop for a picture. I will 100% be back for the pastor burrito!
Wouldn't have known about Hidalgos if a friend didn't tell us. Very clean and fast service. Everything is made to order. Delicious!!! Authentic!!!!

Today was my first time eating here and I got the crazy shrimp taco, crazy fish taco, and crazy chicken taco. It was AMAZING. These tacos are jam packed with toppings and the seafood and chicken was fresh and hot. I will definitely be back! I love the atmosphere, it’s so authentic. The prices are great too!
The fish burrito was amazing! The red sauce is a little hot for me and the green has an amazing flavor. I'll have to find a reason to drive across the state to come back here.
