Never a disappointment until today. Order taker was unfriendly and had an attitude. I felt like I was bothering her. There was one person making subs. Two guys had their orders placed and were already waiting when I walked in. There was a total of 4 employees I saw, but only the one gal was making subs while the others weren’t in sight. I really felt bad for her. It took quite a long time. We asked for extra BBQ sauce and it wasn’t in the bag when I got home. The bread on all three subs was dried out and my husband’s sub hardly had no brisket on it. We are soooo disappointed, especially with the cost of the subs! The other thing is at this location we never have been asked if we want to round up to support our local EMS during the many times we’ve been there. Being I was part of a volunteer fire department up in Wisconsin at one point we truly believe in supporting our local community. I encourage the owner/management to take a step back and ask how can we improve our service? Why are we getting negative reviews? Get everyone involved and work together as a team to continue to build an excellent business that helps a good cause.
Ordered one combo meal and one med sandwich.Was charged for two combo meals and told the girl to not to worry,upon receiving our meals they had no sauce and was very dried out. Worst sandwich we have received. Seams like staff at restaurants just can't get orders right and just don't care anymore. Loved visiting firehouse but it's just gone downhill.
Steak/cheese sub was OK...nothing to write home about. Restaurant was very, very smokey. Was bad enough that my eyes were burning before I left. Asked the person, who I thought was the manager since she was the only one in a different color shirt, if the exhaust fans were working. Response was "Must Not Be". That was the extent of resolving the issue. Someone from corporate needs to do something about this place. Gives the Firehouse Sub a bad rap...
It took 30 minutes to get a sandwich. I ordered online and went in and was waiting by order pickup. People walking in and ordering at the counter left with food before I did. Sandwich was good. Worst stop here by far.
The quality of food has significantly gone down, the bread was not fresh, there was a complaint by one customer saying the same thing. The franchise seems to be cutting corners.. well if they don't smarten up they will loose customers..
2 small subs w/ 2 fountain drinks, $25.Lousy customer service. Rude talk from employees. Another customer found bugs in their "sandwich"Should have gone to Publix, 2 12 inch subs and 2 litres soda for under $20
Went to the port Charlotte location last night, it was very slow maybe 3 guests total. I ordered a veggie sub and ate half of it and brought the other half home. When I get home to eat the other half there was a plastic wrapper that was cooked with my food ? (maybe a straw wrapper idk..) so that was pretty unpleasant to bite into…..pretty grossed out probably won’t eat there again which is unfortunate since we eat there often ☹️
Don't go! Seriously one of the worst dining experiences of my life, just look at my sub! You're about to spend $7 on something and this is what you get. On top of that, the whole restaurant was consumed by smoke. I'm apparently they had no exhaust for their fumes. I have never had an experience like this before. I will never ever be coming back to this place!! Bake out one of my subs Right, but the other two were ridiculous. When you're spending $7 on something, you should expect decent food. Even their Coke machine was empty. I tried clicking on Coke, then clicking on Cherry Coke and it stopped halfway. Went back to get it, thought it was an error, wasn't. There were no other options besides Coke. Employee roll their eyes when I asked for hot sauce.
Wait was extremely long at lunch. They had plenty of workers but they all seemed to be working on online orders while the tables were full of people waiting for their food. I'll never go here on a work lunch break again. Love the food so I'll have to save it for a weekend when I have a spare hour or 2.
My first visit. Ordered an Italian sub, medium. Awful. 1 piece of tgin ham, salami and capicola 1 piece of cheese, heated on a French roll, not sub roll, which was toasted. Opted out of the Mayo and mustard, they don’t belong on an Italian sub. No pickles. It was absolutely disgusting. $11.54 for that abomination with a bag of chips and a soda. Never again.
