Enjoyed every aspect of this restaurant. Very clean, Awesome atmosphere. Prices are a bit high on some of the dishes. Would definitely recommend for a date night. To tell you how cute this place is without telling all its charms...The front foyer is like the outside of a subway station. The hall way that leads to the dining area has subway noises. Look slowly and enjoyLots of little hidden gems that make the atmosphere fun

My wife and I went here for her birthday. She heard about it through word of mouth and thought it sounded interesting. We were both very surprised when we got there. The ENTIRE place is made to look like your stepping onto the streets of New York. You walk in the front door, and your greeted by a hostess standing in area made to look like a NY newspaper stand. Then she takes you through a turnstile, through a hallway made to look like a subway, complete with the tiled walls, signs showing connecting stops, and the low, ambient sounds you would hear in a true subway tunnel. I could explain the rest of the decor, but I'd hate to take away from actually seeing firsthand. Service was great. They make handmade pasta, on site. I had the Sunday Gravy (pics attached), which had fresh rigatoni. This is a great place to go if your looking for someplace special. We would definitely go again!

We arrived for a late lunch and entered to a sign saying to seat ourselves. There were a few tables that were dirty or had staff items on them though we were able to find a seat very quick. Scott was our server and he was ON IT! He allowed us a fee moments to look over the menu and then returned with water and bread (bread and garlic oil for dipping was yummy). Our orders were taken and when the orders dinged ready, they were promptly delivered. Scott was filling our water and pop before the cups could get half way gone. When we finished, he packaged each meal and wrote on the outside of the box so we knew who's was who's (this was very handy and greatly appreciqted). Would definitely recommend for someone visiting the area.

Their 2 for $30 is unbeatable! You get bread, salad, 2 entrees & dessert for $30 in the summertime special. They make the noodles from scratch. Everything is made with love, and passion. I just LOVE donatos. Everyone raves about Carmelo's but donatos in my opinion is authentic Italian food.

I've been wanting to try this place. It's very cute inside. Nice ambiance. Overall, okay. Got our drinks and nice bread and garlic sauce. Placed our orders. Excellent caesar salad. I ordered Lemon chicken over pasta. Very oily. The pasta was all stuck together. The chicken was okay. The waiter never came to ask us about our meals or to offer another glass of wine. Subpar service, okay food. Won't go back.

Garlic Knots are “Not” to do. They are tough and hard to chew. I do NOT recommend this item. They did remove the knots from our bill without us bring it up, which is a plus for our waitress, who in general, was very busy, but managed to give us really good service! The cheese raviolis are pretty good. Filled well, covered with a tomato sauce that has good flavor, but was a little on the runny side.Coke was very good.We ordered a zeppoli to go for dessert. My sister said they were good! One other plus— they are open on Mondays.

Veal Chop Parmigiana special promoted on a Friday afternoon as a special they will have all weekend and every time we have gone specifically for this special they are conveniently "just sold out. " They dont tell you it's sold out either until you are well into your appetizer and eating. The waitress will come over and tell you "sorry I was just putting the order in and I got a message that it was just sold out" meanwhile it is 5:30pm, they only opened at 4pm and the dining room is completely empty. But they "just sold out" of a special they are promoting having all weekend. This has happened 3 times this specific rarely have special is promoted. We even called them asking if they had it when we saw it last promoted and guess what the response was "oh sorry we are sold out"

what you see is not what you get! Very slow service, we waited a while to order and when we did order, was told 20 min later that the item was sold-out. The chicken marsala was bland , tasted like it was microwaved and the "fettuccine " noodles are basically old egg noodles. Margaritas- blech. We will not be back.

The restaurant was out of Chardonay and Pinot Grigio wine. I ordered Egglpant Parm. which was described as "eggplant parmesan stacked with cheese and sauce."The meal was actually 5 tiny pieces of breaded eggplant the size of 50 cent pieces, in a single layer. Next to that, was about 3 teaspoons of pene pasta with a different flavor sauce that was on the eggplant. Who ever heard of penne pasta, on the side for eggplant parm? I ate the eggplant and could eat the side pasta; I will not be back. How awful!

We’ve eaten at Donatos the last 3 years coming in from out of town. We look forward to it every year….unfortunately this time was not good. Awful service, cold food, bland food, over and under cooked chicken. Save yourself the trip and find a different Italian restaurant. We are super disappointed and saddened by this experience.
