Just a very nice place and welcoming. Food is great!
Amazing place! I like to come back to the restaurant
We were sat right away. I decided to try the latte. I got plain, because the syrups are usually too much sweetness for me. Surprisingly good! I'll order that again. The breakfast menu was quite small compared to what it used to be. Not sure if it is just this location. No uncle herschels breakfast. Server was friendly, service was quick. It was a good choice for our family as we were traveling back home.
Have loved Cracker Barrel for years, but for some reason this Cracker Barrel has changed lately. There staff is always great , but the Menu and quality of food has significantly decreased. I understand that due to economy that prices had to increase. However the quality has decreased . For example my wife and I ordered A Grilled chicken salad a Cracker Barrel favorite . When we received a salad that had no boiled eggs slices and grated cheese, rather than Colby cheese slices. Our waitress said they had been deleted due to cost.. Well the Salad cost more without eggs and cheese slices. Several other menu items have been downgraded . Mommas pancake breakfast used to include choice of blueberries or strawberries and whipped cream. Not anymore ——— higher priced but value deleted. I could continue I don’t have the time because whole menu has decreased in quality. We are Customers 3-4 days a week but not anymore
I asked for a omelette and the water said I’m sorry we don’t offer omelettes. I said I have had them there before. He said it’s a teaching restaurant. Do you think they could teach them how to make an omelette….Then I asked for French toast/ with cinnamon on the side, the waiter comes to the table and said the cinnamon is in the batter and he can’t give me cinnamon on the side. When my order came it’s disappointing to say the least… it mights as well ave been regular toast with syrup. I have had better a better breakfast at Waffle House… never going back.Use to eat there a lot.. they must have lost the recipe for omelettes what joke.Went back and looked at their reviews, they look like corporate reviews. Not believing these fluffy fake great reviews.
Sunday Chicken was good. Waiter was good. Coffee & waters refilled often. Prices have really gone up. Did NOT Like the waiter coming over offering Alcohol. No more “Family “ country atmosphere. I thought that was their nich, now its just like every other bar / restaurant .
Best service and food in the area! Will eat there again before we leave. Make sure to stroll through the gift shop, things you will never find any were else.
We had the best waitress yesterday. Her name was Lisa P. She made sure you had everything you needed, checked back to make sure everything was ok. We loved her southern accent also. She made you feel right at home ❤️ Our lunch was great also and you can't beat the price.
Southern fried chicken is excellent and plenty of it! Took some home and had it for 3 more meals. The biscuits rival my mother's homemade baking powder biscuits!
I grew up in Nashville so Cracker Barrel has "always been around". That being the case I know the menu well. Or should I say I USED to know the breakfast menu. This restaurant, and I fear many others have mostly revamped the menu. Did you used to go here for the sunrise sampler? Out of luck! It's gone. Uncle Hershel's? Gone as well. Do you remember "All the Fixings"? Gone. Guys, if you need to raise the prices because of inflation just do it! Don't screw up the entire menu trying to maintain some arbitrary price point. Now specifics on this store. It's old. Old style "host in the back" style. And I don't know what it is but it seems that the older the store the worse the food. This one was no exception. 40 minute wait for a table to get a long wait for our server to appear followed by an even longer wait for lukewarm food, and finally a lack of expedient refills on my tea. My "home store" in Jantzen Beach is new, and never has these problems.Come on guys, I've been a fan since the early 80's don't make me go back to Waffle House.
