Today I went to go eat breakfast at this place, and left very very very disappointed for starters. I ordered eggs, sausage, toast, and home fries, it seemed like they cooked the eggs first and then the sausage because the eggs were cold. The sausage had burnt food pieces it was as if the grill was not clean where they cooked the food, the home fries did not have any seasoning it tasted very bitter. Secondly the waiter was not attentive, she came to offer me the second cup of coffee after 10 minutes of receiving my food and she did not ask if I needed anything else, I don’t like black coffee, she served the coffee and left I had to get the manager and explain all the problems with my food and the waiter, the manager only gave me a 50% discount and left.Since I left my house I was not looking forward to eat something that was cheap, I was expecting to have a delicious and great meal to enjoy it with my kids, the manager never offered to replaced my food. I’m sure I will never return to this place.
Just left unsatisfied, service was horrible, they gave away our food to another table and we waited about 30 or so to even eat. Other tables that came in after us ordered and ate before we did. When we did get our food my food was cold and hash browns weren’t even cooked no one came and checked on us. I don’t know what our servers name was but she has short hair with glasses she never checked on us to see how everything was. When we checked out no one asked us how everything was or anything. I can guarantee I will probably never go back there again.
Food was great, fresh, delicious and the portions weren't egregiously large or too small. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Place seemed clean and well taken care of, homey atmosphere.
Going through Bob Evans' menu online, everything sounded so good that I sent my husband for takeout. We ordered the pot roast dinner and the slow- roasted turkey dinners. The turkey slices were dark and white meat on the same slice, so I know it's not a whole turkey roasted, but probably from a box. Everything tasted ok.I was really looking forward to the triple berry pie. My husband attempted to look in the box at the pie, and was told everything was in there. Imagine my surprise when I opened the box with my slice of pie. I wish I could post my pic here.
Great place for family country cooking. Reasonably priced and the portions are good. Reminds me of dinners in the large farm kitchen.

Service was great especially for the times. My potatoes were undercooked but it was explained to me that the manager was filling in doing the best he could and I understand
Coffee tasted burnt,stake was over cooked,they re-did steak came to table with half dozen cuts in it guess cook was upset a med. Steak should have pink in it and it was all brown.It was my Christmas gift from my daughter.
Went there Sunday morning and it was pretty busy. Lots of church goers that seemed to be regulars seemed to be the priority. Still pretty decent.
This was our first time going to this location as we usually go to Venice but decided to try this one. Needless to say I will not go back to the Port Charlotte one. I understand most places are experiencing staff shortages but they only had two people working the front. One of which was our waitress and another younger girl who basically stood around all night other than checking a few customers out and then walking around to look like she was busy. While our waitress was waiting on all 5-6 tables including ours. Not only did it take almost an hour to get our food but the kitchen staff were screwing off and kept messing up and forgetting orders so my salad alone took the waitress asking atleast 3 times for. Which made my families food sit there while she waited on mine. Multiple items were forgotten such as my daughters syrup for her waffles we asked for 3 times, my husbands drink and a few other things. It was very frustrating to say the least but was not our waitresses fault as again she was the only one trying to manage everything on her own. But due to the lack of staff, long wait times and mediocre food I will stick to going to the Venice location in the future.
